I understand bro that’s you I called it greed because after he has eaten his cake he still want to have it back.

Why bother people or thinking to punish the rider when he knows the best way to approach the matter and get his money back? Abi u na Uber wey go pay an him money ni

The guy just want to pursue two rabbit and catch the both. That’s is an act of greed.

I still don’t get. The greed is he got another ride or he got it on surge?

If the payment method was card, would he have any issue?

Guyman was doing his work jejely and a rider decided to be foolish.

Although he did not need to bring it here as uber will pay extra sef but saying he is greedy is wrong.

Bros u won't understand, its not greed, but game of mind... Riders do dis a lot, once then know u have request, deh start doing that nonsense of bad network. I had issue with 2 girls on Friday, after end of trip, deh were abt to pay m 2k and one of dem said they will need cash inside d mall, they should transfer... I object, by telling dem u didn't tell me u girls r going to transfer, but its OK! On d condition I'll receive alert before alighting. The loud mouth out of d two get into action, blah blah did I ask dem if its transfer, dis dat, she does transfer and drivers that doesn't want transfer tells her from the onset. She gave me cash and said "I only pity you, don't think you r stubborn". Me, just roll eyes and look away, while I wait for my 1 star.

On the other hand I'll let go of 800 for a 3. Surge boss, its not greed, but knowing dat which is important.

Exactly what I did, which at that point, applying scale of pref and wisdom is the best to do. Do I just allow a scammer to go, maybe I can do one more thing and that made me report it here, for others to know what's on d street maybe, I learnt everything about ehailing on this thread! Uber just paid back! Did you read this boy's response to this your post? Do you think any reasonable partner can give this one his car? Can this one deliver even 10k rental with this attitude? And he's still bragging! He has no sense and his proud of his senseless state! Read my post, u don see any rude post from me to anyone here, except this idiot.

Good evening good people, I need your advice and help.

Someone swerved off the road on Thursday and hit me; in the process breaking my full light with some fender damages.

Did some assessment and decided to collect his contact so we settle if after I’ve got the full repair estimates.

From the details I have, he’s a prophet with a church at Ejigbo; could see the details on Facebook and all.

Gave him the bills and he promised to make the transfer. Up until now, he’s been responsive whenever I call but still yet to make the transfer of the repair bills.

What do I do?

Thank you.

It's a simple matter na, even if you pick a trip with 10mins left of your count down you can still finish the trip just ignore the warning sign till end of the trip nothing will happen even if u use 2hrs, u will still be able to end trip and get your full fare, and u will even notice the extra hours u used would av been subtracted from the supposed 6hrs rest time.

Guy you clearly went overboard. Discretion seems not to be your forte. You've made many comments here that will scare off prospective partners. Focus on your car search... With all wisdom
Guy did I ask you for a rental? Or when was the last you read a post from me stating I’m still in need of a car? If you or any other person need information weather I have gotten one or not simply ask me directly instead of you coming through the kitchen door to seek information.

If my comments like you pointed can/will scare away potential partner what’s your business about that? Must I agree with everybody on everything or will everyone like me?

People like you and that big for nothing that thinks he has wisdom are the type that judge a book from its cover.

If that id0t sees me In person I’m very confident he’ll wee in his pants.

If someone don’t have something reasonable to post let them simply observe and read other people’s comments instead of displaying like kids asking stupid questions they already have an answer to.

Social media is not for people that can’t take criticism else it will destroy once life and reputation.

Dapotemi wasnt greedy. He deserves to ask for the money, he worked for it. And he needed not to forgo 3.0 surge for a trip he had already ended becuase of one dubious rider.

Bros, if you have the money, go for it. But if you are going for it because it would aid in getting requests quickly, I beg to differ. I use an Infinix Note 5 and I've not had any issues with getting requests (if there are), or failed trips (except for one occasion due to exhausted data). Work with a good phone with at least 4GB RAM and you should be fine.

Take Chuwaa's advice, especially this one " Discretion does not seems to be your forte". Let me know if you really wish to see me? I will teach you a lesson b4 this year runs out! You might need enough cash to bail yourself.

If the price of that phone isn't coming as a burden, go for it. But if you need to drain your pocket for it, there are other cheaper options. Infinix, tecno, item brands arent offcially accepted but people still use them nevertheless.

Brands Like Samsung, iPhone (from 6s), LG, HTC etc with atleast 2gb ram, at least Android OS 6.0 and good GPS are one of many options officially accepted.

Check google for phone specs recommended for ehailing.

Good luck.

Lest I forget, I heard with iPhones, you can't use Ocar. So you know you might need another another phone for Ocar. And I dont think iPhones boost trips than other accepted brands.

Read the two meanings of the word “greedy” in the attachment within.

Even if I didn’t go to Harvard University or Oxford at least I can still prove that he @dapotemi is a greedy person. Or you think leaving the money for the scammer rider therefore means he’s ascetic? What if it where a bolt trip?
Ok do you know this same rider will carry out the same act the next time with another driver? Even with the same app? Or if he can’t make a request with his own detail he can get someone else to make a request for him? Then the trend continues and maybe if Uber finally blocks him he take the same xter to bolt and one day we will see how a driver is fighting with a rider on the street.

A wish goes like this, “blame everybody who lives around the house that burnt to ashes even the passers by.” The reason is, what did you do when you first saw the smoke or the fire? Did you just keep quiet or stand with two hands fold or just walk pass?

Y’all should learn to overlook things every now and then. You don’t agree with his assessment, move on. Very soon you would berate a rider for his/her attitude

I forgot to ask, how far na any luck yet in getting a rental?
If nothing yet I’ll encourage you to exercise more patient I don’t know if I’m permitted to say “like a dog that gets the fattest bone” lol. because sb said things are different with that patient dog in this present regime.

Try follow up with Dru23 and be patient I trust you’ll have the last laugh.

@yommy78 , in addition to the quote within are recommended phones suitable for the app to run well. And just like he stated Ocar app don’t have a license for their app to run on iOS at the moment so you may be looking at getting other phone brands that can accept all 3 apps.

Good luck to you!!
