Yes you are safe.
Try to make a DEPOSIT of any amount on 31st (which is the day 28th ) to close the account then print on 2nd of January (which will be day 30th) and start your VISA application on 2nd immediately
Make sure u submit ur Visa application and make all necessary payments latest on 3rd (which would be day- 31) by God's grace.

Wish you best of luck

Meanwhile, let your bank know the Statement is meant for UK VISA APPLICATION and don't forget to tell them to activate your ATM for online foreign Banking Transactions (for Visa payments and IHS payments).

Thanks akinbo3 for taking your time to respond. But if I may ask why do I need to make a deposit on 30. I already completed the application I was waiting for my bank statement before submitting. And I will be using a credit card to pay so don’t think I will need the ATM for online transaction. Thanks again for responding

Please is there a way one can book appointment in advance? Like lock it down pending when other documents are ready!

Just saw a comment now that next available date is 10th? ☹️ I need to know pls
What are you waiting for exactly? If your bank statement is already 28days old, then you can apply immediately, you don't need to wait for anything else. Appointment dates clear up really fast, so the earlier the better. There's no way you can book ahead, because on the date of your application submission your bank statement must be ready.

.

You can't book an appointment if your bank statement hasn't matured to 28 days. It's automatic cause for denial.

Hello everyone, I got a conditional offer to study Petroleum and Gas engineering top up at Teesside University (Had hnd in Geology). Course starts in Sep 2020. When is the best time to start my visa processing?

Going for a one year top up course.. How many years visa do you think I will be given?

Can my wife come visit or stay with me during this one year top up Course?
This has been a big issue btw us as she doesn't want to be alone for long and it's affecting my zeal to go all in to the process.

I will appreciate the gurus contribution to this...

Thanks

I submitted my application since 4th Dec, 2019 at TLS Abuja. I was told that my application will take approximately 15 working days which was to elapse on 24th Dec, 2019 and I contacted the UKVI office at an extra cost on Friday 27th Dec and was told that my application has been treated and sent back to TLS but I haven't heard anything from TLS. I got a number (08020581173) online and it seem like it's a scam. I'm confused and really upset about TLS service. I have a deadline to meet and It's looking like I won't be able to meet up with this their unreliable service. Please can anyone assist me with a reliable contact for TLS? sad sad sad sad sad sad sad sad sad

Dec 24th was the day before xmas and since 25th, tls has been on holiday. So it isn't about unreliable service in your case. Relax and have faith. By this week hopefully.

TLS only observed 25th and 26th as their holiday. They worked on Friday, 27th.

Hello All,

I am a prospective PhD student in the UK. I will be leaving October, 2020 by God's grace but, the issue I have presently is that I will be obviously pregnant before the interview date. I have never done such interview before. Do they allow pregnant PhD students for interview?

I will be very glad if I can get a reply please. This is so urgent.

Not TLS Abuja though. Because I was there.

I don't know about Lagos but I assume they follow the same time table. For the past two weeks that I've been going there, the notice was pasted around the offices. 25, 26, 27th and Jan 1st.

Also note, TLS is different from UKVI.

They dont allow dependant visa on Bachelors degree.
Do you have considerable work experience as some courses can consider you for Masters degree. Elaborate on your work experience.

With your Masters studies start in Sept 2020, your wife can apply as your dependant and you are also eligible for post study visa.
