Are there still communities where this man's face is not known? I mean he's famous for god's sake. Will be even more famous in the east from he's from.
And truth be told, most villagers watch more indigenous movies than foreign ones. Also, villages enjoy electricity alot these days, in some cases more than towns sef.

U won't want to eat a star? ur star.

So, it's either he's lying/exaggerating, the blogger is lying, those men he heard were lying, his director is lying, or NL is lying.

Do you know that their is still some villages in Nigeria and Africa that their women is still walking naked ?

If you read the statement very well you will understand that, such did not happen in South East..

According to Mr ibu, he said they were shocked that he was able to understand their language as he replied them, meaning since he is igbo there is no how those men will be shocked he understands igbo, since they know he is an igbo man

So those quoting S. East should think twice before commenting, if actually the story is not just fiction.

Mr. Man, abeg gerrout! Na Igbo pple dem be. Dem dey chop humans for God's sake... WTF? In this century? For real? Damn it! angry

My Igbo ex gf told me stories her aunt narrated to her abt how cannibalism is prominent among several Igbo ethnicities and groups prompting most of them to run away to SW.

Majority of Igbos living in SW 9ja never wanna go back to their fvcked up villages except for vacations.

Stop saying what you don't know with so much authority Oga. There is a woman who was once a neighbor to my family. She never fails to brag how she has eaten a human before. She said it was during a war and there was nothing to eat so their community cooked and eat the meat of some notoriously bad people in the community. She said her community still practices it.

I see you did not specify a tribe nor which war. cheesy

it's rather in Ogun and Osun that ur flesh would be eaten and ur skull mined.

Oga, I'm not interested in your tribal nonsense. I'm telling you that as a fact, they still eat humans in Isiala-Ngwa.

Even those from Isiala-Ngwa but living outside, they dry human meat and send to them.

Now, you're the one going tribal.

When ever you Igbos are caught doing evil, you cry that we shouldn't tribalise it. Meanwhile, you're the biggest culprits.

They have been consuming human flesh from time immemorial till now. In fact I remember when I was very young, we used to call Igbos in Lagos (aje eniyan) cannibals in Yoruba because it was well known fact that human cannibalism was quite common in the SE.
Not the whole of the South East though. Just Isiala-Ngwa and a part of Ebonyi (sic).

That of Isiala-Ngwa was an experience upclose. Vehicle 'broke down' and villagers started walking in the bushes on both sides of the road as we walked. You could hear them but barely see them, just some colours of their clothes.

The saving grace for us was one of the ladies with us who called someone and called out the vehicle number plate of the vehicle we charted that 'mistakenly broke down'. The vehicle miraculously started when she told the person to visit a particular park to arrest the driver if she isn't heard from in two hours.

My spirit strolled away from my body that Saturday afternoon and that ended my Owambe campaign in the South East.

It is practiced across Igboland.

In 2015, a hotel selling human meat in Anambra was busted.

Dude, I've presented you with facts and even a video evidence to buttress my allegation. I'm waiting a video evidence of your claim against the Apex Yoruba tribe.

Majority of Igbos realize the fact that they're still uncivilized and savage hence, the major reason they all run away from their jungle. Initially they claim na only Lagos dem dey run go but, go to Ogun, Oyo, Ondo, Ekiti, et al... and you'll see them everywhere hawking gala and egg-roll.

This is true nah. Our neighborhood Igbo food seller from Abia had a burial in the SE. As Yoruba people Wey like owanbe, we told him we were turning up, but he advised us about carnabalism in a nearby town and told us to ensure we fall in before 3pm or so. Na so we change our mind ooo. We did not turn up cos of fear.

Why not let us know the name of the village? So, others would be cautious about such places. Is it in the east, south-south, north or south-east. Something tell me it's in the east because I have a friend that was posted to Enugu back in the 90s. The guy did not spend a day at the place he was posted to after the passing out parade. He said there was rumour that there were cannibals among the people in that part of Enugu. Is it this true? Maybe someone from Enugu can confirm. Or my friend was lieing in order not to complete his NYSC, as he traveled out of Nigeria few months later.

"a language he understands" food for thought.

Human flesh is still a great delicacy among a certain subgroup of the Ibos. Everyone knows and acknowledges this fact aside people who just like to deceive themselves. There's even a video circulating online of an Ibo family preparing the meat of a freshly murdered full-grown male human being.
