How would you be enlightened when u stay inside ur village and only get informed through the beerparlour gist that ur fellow ipob members feed u with.
For the record, my fiancee is Aniocha from Delta State and as an Anioma tribe she is proudly of, she once got so infuriated threatened to break up with me cos I mistakenly said that Aniocha people are Igbo, she said she's not igbo and I also remember once when two igbo ladies were speaking Igbo dialect at New Benin Market and I asked her if she could translate it and she said no that their Anioma language is different from igbo language that they don't understand igbo.
seems u don't know that these guys from SS don't like us and also don't wanna have any affiliation or whatsoever with us..
for the record I'm Igbo from Idemili North in Anambra before u start shouting Afonja like jimyjames or precisionfx

I strongly advice that u take that ur girlfriend to the hospital for brain check because obviously, she is not alright. I speak the Enuani dialect very well ( enuani is spoken in Aniocha and Oshimili ) and communicate with Anambra people fluently because our dialects sound alike. If an Anambra person speaks to your girlfriend and she is unable to understand and translate that means she doesn't even know or understand Enuani at all or as I said earlier, take her for a brain check. There is no child of Anioma from Aniocha and Oshimili that understands the Enuani language and can't communicate with NdiAnambra especially Onitsha people. Some Anioma people like myself and my household and a whole lot of others can even communicate in the Owerri dialect.
And now to the hypocrisy in your speach, u claimed Anioma people hate the Easterners but u are about to marry someone from Aniocha.

Most of them from these igboid subgroup who deny their Igbo ethnicity do so out of ignorance and that's exactly what Gowon wanted when he with the advice of awolowo divided the Igbo kingdom to smaller regions and carved them under Niger Delta to marginalize the Igbo's and stop them from uniting and separating from Nigeria

NimrodEndOfDays:
I have many friends from the Aniomas that he claims to know. The people that I have met that claim not to be are like Agbor. But when I interrogate to know what's up,they smile. Many of them are just confused. When I ask my friend who is from Ibuzo, if he is Igbo he just laughs at me like am stupid. He doesn't and has never denied being Igbo. But there are some who claim to be Delta Igbo and one man in his 50s who claims to be Ibo and not Igbo. When I shamed and embarrassed him,he received sense by force. grin

Some times I wonder to what end do these want to achieve these falsehood they promote. Do they even think that the same people who even agree to be called Igbos understand themselves is some cases? The Enugu man has a dialect that I find very difficult to understand but does that make them to be non Igbos? People should not speak from the position of Ignorance.

Ndokwa, be Ali nwa Chukwuma.

Nnaa nnoo. But you must know that alot of our people from Ndokwa had disgraced and humiliated Ndiigbo from the past, both online and offline.
You can imagine a situation where an Igbo from South East sees a Chukwuemeke from Ndokwa and try to call him a fellow Igbo, only for Chukwuemeke to start insulting the Igbo man for calling him Igbo, accusing him of trying to steal ndokwa land, tell him that Igbos are thieves and greedy people, and therefore, Ndokwa a holy people cannot be Igbo.

I belong to Ndokwa facebook page, and I know the type of unprovoked Igbo bashing posts some Ndokwa people make there, they insult and denigrate Ndiigbo everyday.
See a thread an Ndokwa son opened on Nairaland sometime ago, he is still active in NL today https://www.nairaland.com/1362294/abohs-delta-state-not-igbos

A former Super mod in NL here, Ishilove or so they called her, an Ndokwa daughter, was also violently Igbophobic and never missed any opportunity to denigrate Ndiigbo here, any time we tried to count Ndokwa/Ukwuani as Igbo.

After 50years (1970-2019) of this gross abuse, many Igbos have grown detached from your Ndokwa people, some like me are even growing a big resentment and hate for your people as well, because let's face it, we are not Jesus and can't continue to show love to a group of people who show only strong hate towards us for 50yrs counting now, just because we tried to extend hand of kinship to them.

Of course, I am well aware of the fact that we have Igbophillic Ndokwa people, even here on Nairaland we use to have an Igbo veteran here those days called "CHYZ", (not to be mistaken for the current impostor going by a similar name).
One of the admins of Proudly Anioma , Proudly Igbo group , a man I respect alot is also an Ndokwa man, Ali Chukwuma, remains my most favorite Igbo musician, he lived and died an Igbo man, yet he was from Ndokwa, Aboh to be precise .
Problem is that those of you on the Igbophobic side greatly outnumber those on the Igbophillic side. It's a bit disheartening.

While you are right to be angry with lukewarm and even standoffish Igbo attitude towards Ndokwa/Ukwuani today, you must also recognize the fact that it's only but a reaction to the barrages of non stop abuse many of your brothers have subjected us under for 50yrs now.

So to stop the reaction, you will first have to stop the action, and this will take a very long time to achieve.

Bros you are always at the forefront for Igbo and shall remain a blessed son of Igbo. It was recently that Godwin Alabi-Isama of all people publically called himself an Igbo man. He is also from Ndokwa. Sometimes I tempted to forgive Alabi-Isama because of his parentage. His father, Ndokwa peep, died when Alabi-Isama was very young and he is raised by his mother, Muslim Yari.ba, from Ilorin. Unfortunately, Alabi-Isama past his useful age before he was led by hand to his father's compound in Ndokwa. The tendency to deny Igbo is very rampant among Ndokwa however one of the fiercest defender of Igbo that I know is a man from Ndokwa called Thomas Ossai. The old dude taught me so many things in life. He was a friend to my father.

I clearly understand you but if people from south east keep behaving like this towards anioma then we will never achieve anything as Igbo's.you said that you belong to Ndokwa Facebook page, please let me remind you that not everybody on that page are from Ndokwa. I won't deny the fact that some people from Ndokwa denied being Igbo but the truth is that the number has reduced .let me also remind you that some reason why some people reject Igbo tags is because of the nature of Delta politics. even within anioma aniocha see themselves as aniocha likewise Ndokwa ika and oshmili, the reason is because of politics, if we don't do it like developments won't spear to those area, you can only understand this if you are from Delta state. So seeing comments coming out from here is something else. You all should just God that you are not from anioma in Delta but from Igbo States in east.

Please bros spare this cock and bull fairy tales. You are so economically with the truth. The denial of Igbo by some goons points directly to the Nigeria/Baifra war. The moment Biafra was the defeated, it became fashionable to deny Igbo. One Ndokwa son, Major Nzefili, who joined Nigerian Armed Forces as Igbo later denied his being Igbo after the war.

The only way Anioma can be liberated is if they're removed from Delta and added to the SE. Either as the 6th or 7th SE state.

The identity crisis many of us face in the SS is because we're isolated from the Igbo pride. Imagine speaking pidgin, instead of your Igbo dialect to others simply because you want to feel more south south like the average Ijaw, Ogoni, Urhobo etc. We are alienated from the Igbo identity in many ways, that it takes strong individual conviction to stand tall as Igbo. I for instance during my teenage age didn't really understood what it meant by being called Igbo, because I was informed that you can't be a Rivers man and still retain your Igbo identity. I was more Rivers man than even Igbo until my early 20's. You look around to the left and your neighbors are denying Igbo for political gains, and you ask wtf is going on.
The political loss of Ndigbo in national affairs seems to be dragging us backwards. Ndigbo must get it right politically and use their weight to liberate us out of this SS. The earlier Ndigbo insist that the SS Igbos are given states of theirs and added to the SE, the earlier the denial nonsense is defeated for good

But the bolded torments the north and southwest like a running stomach because of the perceived dominancy of Igbo in the rich defunct eastern region that will include Anioma after all. I can bet my cent that Ogoni people speak more Igbo than Igbo people speak Ogoni. I guess that must Igbo people who speak Ogoni are people from Nkwere.

Mr man have you being to Ndokwa land before? go to Ndokwa land speak to 10 people with Igbo language and ask them if they are Igbo I swear you will be surprise that 8 out of 10 will tell you that they are Igbo but go back or tell someone to go and meet the same 10 people and ask them the same question, you will be surprise that that they will deny,is so because of the nature of politics they find themselves into, other non Igbo tribes are looking for small thing to tell them that igbos can't take what belong to real deltas.if you are from Delta or state in Delta you will notice that the same is happening between asaba capital and warri.

War maybe the truth but not the entire truth. The politics also has a say in that. All I know is that they only allow themselves to be intimidated by minority few.

Delta north is trying to give a balanced equation but others doesn't care what their intentions are.

The first step is the return of Igbo language to classroom. The old fathers studied that but recent generation fought against it.

No, I do not or have no reasons to lie about anybody, definitely not Macaulay Nzefili. By the way, Nzefili did not attend the rank of a General in Biafran army. In addition, I cannot remember any division or brigade or even battalion of Biafran armed forces commanded by Nzefili.
