Does that mean he'll start ahead of Vardy in the first team?
Not necessarily so.

But remember that Vardy is out injured.

So, risking Iheanacho today isn't worth it when Carling cup game against Villa is coming up

Infact, he was an unused substitute today

Just for your information, you spelt Osimhen wrong.

fabyom:
I guess the reason Liverpool wants Oshimen is because R. Madrid wants Firmino.
I hope this is not a replica of Moses Simon saga.
I really want Oshimen in that Liverpool team. However, I am a little afraid for him because Salah is a selfish idiot!

Liverpool transfer blow as La Liga giants enter the race for 21-year-old Ligue 1 hotshot

Real Madrid and Barcelona threaten Liverpool’s interest in Victor Osimhen

Liverpool transfer target Victor Osimhen has emerged as a target for La Liga giants Real Madrid and Barcelona. (h/t Express)

The 21-year-old striker who joined Lille from Charleroi in the summer has taken Ligue 1 by storm. The forward has made 24 appearances for Lille and has scored 13 goals and 3 assists.

10 of these goals have come in the league, where the Nigerian occupies the third spot in the race for the golden boot. (h/t Whoscored) His impressive performances have helped Lille climb to fourth place on the table.

Brought in as a replacement for Nicolas Pepe, the youngster has done justice to the faith shown in him by the Les Dogues faithful. Liverpool have had a miserable injury record in recent weeks.

The Reds are thin on numbers, having lost a score of first-teamers going into the business end of the season.

Jurgen Klopp is a fan of Osimhen. With the January window open, the German manager must make a move for the striker. However, this could now be in threat, with the likes of Real Madrid and Barcelona entering the race.

Although Osimhen is expected to stay at Lille this window, a lucrative offer may force the club’s hand. (h/t Sky Sports)

The striker himself has spoken of his desire to stay put for the remainder of the season and help Lille qualify for the Champions League. Osimhen has made 9 appearances for the Nigerian national team, scoring 4 goals.

Maybe he was extending the performance count beyond the last decade you mentioned.

One thing I noticed on the thread is the fact that people always react in the opposite of any comment that is subjective.

Atleast, you said people should post theirs for the last decade but instead of doing that, Your list's criticism ensued

Exactly. Some that are fronting Emenike now, if i had listed Emenike they would have argued for Ighalo. Some people just like criticism grin

That is where Emenike came into the conversation. Did Odion Ighalo deliver more than Emmanuel Emenike?

Oga I have posted it here before:
Emenike: 9 goals in 37 matches
Ighalo: 16 goals in 35 matches.

Or which other major yardstick do you want to use to measure "delivery" of strikers

Some of Leicester City better players where benched and I don’t think this game is important

Even if he doesn’t nacho

This game is not important so I support the coach

So you are expecting him to use his best players abi

That tells u that I don't attach sentiments. If you perform poorly I bring out my stick and if u do well I hail you for it.

You thought I hated Ighalo right? Well sorry to disappoint you.I have no permanent favorites and no permanent player under my criticism.

The problem is when you attach too much sentiments to the analysis or critism of players and refuse to see anything good in a player even when he is performing.
Ighalo's recent stats have buoyed his overall performance in the national team's jersey why will that be a difficult thing to acknowledge except if you are blinded by sentiments of which I am not!

giroud winning the world cup makes him a better striker than lewandoski right? receive sense! cheesy cheesy cheesy

Then based on this your yardstick a player like Godfrey Obaobona deserved to be in the best XI and not Ekong grin

What other important yardstick is there to measure the deliverables of a striker other than the number of goals he scored over his entire career? grin

Emenike played 37 matches for Nigeria and scored only 9 goals, 5 of which came in the 5 matches he played at the 2013 AFCON. So it means he only scored 4 in the other 32 matches. This can easily pass for the stats of a defender grin
