Your first post on NL na to come for Chriskels' head.... Hmmm.

Anyway, not that he is Emenike's agent naa.... It's just that Chris will rather have Emenike over an Ighalo that he clearly doesn't rate. Almost everyone here knows he doesn't rate Iggy hence his choice of any other CF over Iggy. So no qualms... Just enjoy the show. wink

Thing is me sef didn't rate Ighalo and most should know that but I gave the man the credits and praises he was due. I still do so till today.

So uhmmm... Starting off your debut on NL with a reply to Chriskels. Hehehehehe... Must be a longtime follower eh and Chris don commot you from Ghostmode.

Meanwhile you be Naija Pogba? grin Na your name cause am ooo...

All the same, you are my first new face in here for the year... Welcome to the league of the finest
analytical minds in Nigerian football fandom... The good, the biased, the sentimental, the controversial, the annoying, the uplifting, the bold, the beautiful, the ugly... etc You get it all here...

The person behind that moniker has an original moniker here already. He had to hurriedly create that moniker as a back up to his main account that was getting roasted by Chriskels grin

Andrew once did this and got bursted grin grin

ireland we dash una grin grin

The Football Association of Ireland are planning to cap-tie Norwich City's Nigeria-eligible striker Adam Idah during the first international break of 2020, manager Mick McCarthy has hinted.

McCarthy stated that Idah has earned himself a senior call-up on the back of his impressive performance against Preston North End in the Emirates FA Cup on Saturday in which he netted his first hat-trick as a professional.

Born in Cork, the former College Corinthians super kid qualifies to represent Nigeria through his father.

The 18-year-old is already provisionally cap-tied to the Irish after appearing for the country in the U17 EURO qualifiers back in October 2016 and also has caps for the U16, U18, U19 and U21 national teams.

Ireland's first game this decade is a European Championship qualifier against Slovakia in March and Idah won't be eligible to play for Nigeria again if he gets game time.

Speaking to BT Sport on Saturday, McCarthy said : "He might have just got himself one, never mind you getting him one.

"He's scored a hat-trick today, and he's playing in a real competitive game. It's not a U21s, U23s, it's an FA Cup tie against a good Preston team."

The Nigeria Football Federation have lost Michael Obafemi to the Irish and it is all but confirmed that Idah will follow in the footsteps of the Southampton striker by committing his international future to the boys in Green as he has closer ties to his country of birth than Nigeria.

Emenike: 9 goals in 37 matches = 1 AFCON Gold(trophy), 1 AFCON golden boot, 1 world cup ticket, 1 world cup R16.

Ighalo: 16 goals in 35 matches = 0 AFCON gold, 1 AFCON golden boot, 1 world cup ticket, 0 world cup R16.

Who really delivered?
So,

Does that mean the AFCON 2013 squad should dominate the super eagles team of the decade

Who is Luke Amos again? Nigeria really got eyes for fine foreign players. The only problem is - we see them, we invite them, we play them for a while and then snub them when they have little problem with club football.

So because they are foreign born they should not be snubbed when they are doing badly for their club?

For example,Maybe you will say we are now snubbing balogun as he is no more being called, when he is now a bench warmer

I think you will make a bad coach

Emenike played 37 matches for Nigeria and scored only 9 goals, 5 of which came in the 5 matches he played at the 2013 AFCON. So it means he only scored 4 in the other 32 matches. This can easily pass for the stats of a defender grin

Bro I can read posts here without checking the moniker, and still correctly tell u who posted it. Every writer has a signature and I can proudly tell u I know how every poster in here writes, especially the regulars. I am almost wont with our respective dictions, understanding of posts, reactions to posts and sense/way of reasoning

That moniker was created by my brother CharlesEmeka, his English gave him away just as Andrew's undid him the year he showed up wearing Mbjane, it is preposterous to believe otherwise

Yeah. Watching him now. He's playing from the right of midfield though but a few reports I read on him say he also plays in the middle. His touches and composure have been good so far. Off the ball, the guy dey press shaa. Lol Well... Not bad so far from him. Sharing gametime between him and Chukwueze. grin

I get your point but a good coach is supposed to know his players, know his first team, know their strengths and weaknesses. Person no perform well for club no mean say he no go perform for country when invited. Some players may even be in the team just to inspire confidence among other players. Take a look at Wijnaldum in the Dutch team

okay, then he should be penciled down as one for the future. we really need good central midfielders

Will Chukwueze improve further in Villareal?

Highly unlikely. He has peaked at Villareal. The team can't offer him more. He needs a greater challenge. He needs to move!

Besides the team does not play to his strength. Sometimes he makes promising runs but they will not release the ball to him and they kill the move.

Chukwueze wins a leg race for the ball and a penalty... And Villarreal have equalised.

Any bench warmer in a club not getting any game time should not be called

Nacho was drop for not getting game time so no one should be given a special treatment

Wijnaldum is a good player and he is not a bench warmer at liverpool, he has been good for both club and country
