Although the poverty in Borno is way higher than that of Los Angeles, but the hundreds of homeless tents in LA can pass for IDP camps. It's a total eyesore.
My brother the thing is becoming alarming. Am surprised that you noticed. Even in New York n Washington (the nation's capital). It's alarming.

What's going on?

Jonathan's daughter's wedding then rained more private jets in Abuja
May be true.
But Nigeria was not the poverty capital of the world then.

He has stayed in the US and been to 30 countries and still remains dumb.

Did that number outweigh the number of jets that landed in Los Angeles for May weather and Manny Pacquiao fight.

This what I tell people. Being in the US is not a stamp for being exposed.
There's no hope for Nigeria. Do u know that Los Angeles is richer than Nigeria

Oppo Reno, you're right.

But Nigerians have never been known to be discreet, humble, and sensitive. They're loud, brash, wasteful, flamboyant, tone-deaf, extravagant, and have a fetish for being materially recognized, for the need to be respected based on their acquisitions and travels.

For instance, even you threw in a line about having stayed for decades in the US, schooling in the UK, and visiting 30 countries in one year. Those are expensive ventures, and right now you've no known source of income.

So while calling out those people for expensive lifestyles, you're guilty of same. You've been bombarding us with pictures of you and your family living it up in perpetual vacation. Staying abroad is quite expensive, and you haven't been in Nigeria for 5 years now.

You are the one who should STFU
Two boxers fought and successful business men from different countries came to watch the game with their different jets and you are comparing it to Nigeria where politicians who are not known for any sort of businesses flew in with over 40 private jets and you are opening your smelling mouth.

You need sense walahi.

There is no comparison, don't be a supporter of crimes against humanity.
IDP's are already spreading down south!!!

On the same The Cable website, I read the testimony of a woman from Borno celebrating the fact that for the first time ever. her children ate an egg at school during the now discontinued school feeding programme-initiative of the Federal Government. An egg. An egg! Her children have never eaten an egg in their lives. And this is the same environment where it is now raining private jets! May God have mercy on Nigeria.

Who says it is discontinued and why did you and your oga not think it was important?

Is the number of private jets the message or the point that stood out to you?

Again, when you can't distinguish between the pig and the man, it means that we now have two pigs, and man should be worried.

I appreciate what Reno is doing but the problem I have with Reno is that when he was part of them, he sees nothing wrong with many private jets. The moment he was out of service, he became Saint. They didn't start taking private jet for weddings yesterday. There is no crime in criticising the Govt you are serving under if they are doing things wrong. The worst that can happen is to be relieved of your duty.
I want Reno to continue these logical criticisms but it would have been great if he had started when he was serving under Jonathan's Govt

Bro this is not the same. Don't compare!

Have you forgotten that the fight raised revenue for US government and they have no internal aggressions as we do. What did the jets in Maiduguri do to increase our GDP?

Reno, keep quiet, until you can prove objectivity in your criticism of governments. What have you written about Fayose that parties abroad after deceiving the court? Didn't you apologized to Sarakis after you castigated her the wife erroneously for allowing an aid to carry umbrella for her?

Let's not blame the northern leaders in total rather the citizenry who has refused to wake up, civilise and brace up to 21st century call. The southern leaders aswel has not done anything spectacular rather southerners are more civilised and vocal enough to call a spade, a spade. My prayer every day is God pls never let me reason like some nairalanders who sees every issue raised as an attack either on religion, region, political party, Gender or profession.PLEASE WE CAN ONLY GROW AS A NATION WHEN WE ALWAYS TAKE THE MESSAGE AND LEAVE THE MESSENGER.
