Salah won it last year in Mane's country, now it's Mane's time to win it in Salah's country.

No big deal at all..

Salah isn't the first player to miss a football award...free him abeg. ..

this is not a valid reason to stay away.

Whatever the Egyptian audience chants is their own business, if anything, he can be present to call for calm and personally congratulate Mane.

No problem sha, since he cannot make it, I hope he has drafted a congratulatory message that he will post publicly, let us know he is really humble, because I have not heard much as concerns this humility you say he has.

What was lionel messi reason and cr7 reason to stay away from the balon d or they know they wont win ?

I dont really like salah and i am happy he wont win this one but there is no big deal in staying away jare

Thank you Olu. I even almost forgot he won it in Mane's home, Senegal where Mane is also King. Why didn't Mane stay away for fear of the senegalese fans/crowd chanting "Mane! Mane!!! Maneee!!!!" While Salah picked up the award?

Sebi you see why those excuses Danielnino00(Staunch Liverpool fan) gave in Salah's defence do not hold water. Anyway, it is really bad from Salah to miss this. There is no dribbling around this. So much for Salah being friends with Mane. grin

He may not be the first to miss a major football awards ceremony BUT he is missing the one that would honor his "good friend" and club mate Mane. That is a low blow. But yeah... Not a big deal abi. Lol... Anyway, moving on. wink

According to OGN, Gernot Rohr is likely to accept the conditions/Clause stating he must live in Nigeria. That is good news as it was feared it might be a big issue.

Only thing is the salary issue will be discussed coz Rohr will pay tax meaning Rohr could ask for a raise to balance up.

I think Rohr staying in Nigeria could still mean he gets to occasionally fly out to see or visit some of our players when necessary and keep the clubs-NT relationship growing. Also, he got scouts in Europe who I believe can do the job for him sometimes.
IF OGN REPORTS ARE TRUE , THEN THIS IS GOOD NEWS.

MEANWHILE, the reports also say that Rohr has no problem submitting his team lists for eveey matchday for vetting by the NFF Technical Committee AS LONG AS HE HAS THE FINAL SAY ON WHO MAKES THE LIST.

Friendly game between Bundesliga side Borussia Mochengladbach and Dessers' Heracles Almelo in GERMANY.

Half time scores is 2-1 to Heracles.

Cyriel Dessers getting both goals so far for his side. Lad beginning 2020 same way he ended 2019. On fire!

as far as I am concerned, both Messi and CR7 are egoistical men and their egos couldn't take the hit. We can add Salah to that list, since we are saying he is like them

So he should not start for us anymore?

Anyway all players have their own weakness

Despite my support for collins, i prefer aina for our left back and awaziem for the right side

Game eventually finished 3-1 in favor of Heracles. Dessers with a brace in the first half. He didn't play the second half. Heracles and Mochengladbach played with different teams in the second. Both team's main players played the first half.

Messi is egoistical.

The World just doesn't notice because he hides it better than CR7. He's the worst kind of egoistical there is, that is why he throws tantrums and quits whenever Argentina fails to win a trophy, because he believes that winning trophies is his birthright and he deserves it more than others.

This is a trait of someone with a high opinion of themselves; someone with an ego.
