CAF and their sentimental pattern of voting. I think Chukwueze or Osimhen are more deserving of the award.
Osimhen have a real case but Chuks? No way. Hakimi is a very good full back

It is easy to spot a man of low intelligence by the words he utters and the manner in which he utters them. Also by the ways he reasons out issues. You, Andy, are of a very low class indeed. Where I am offline, you won't believe. Where my brains have taken me, you have no idea.

But the internet gives you wings to yarn dust as usual. Kwantinue... Na you get your phone and data. grin

Higher level. Chukwueze bested him at the Afcon. He did far better than Hakimi. Higher level.

Osimhen also bagged goals in the UCL like Hakimi. Higher level.

Osimhen also finished 2019 as Africa's Third highest Goalscorer in the European Top 10 leagues outscoring even Salah and Mahrez. Higher level.

Oga abeg... Keep to your higher level sentiments coz I just gave you solid stats that back up both players' claims to that prize. In fact, Osimhen is most deserving. No sentiments at all. But CAF must be CAF. Period.

You can't be using goals to compare a striker and a defender, maybe morroco didn't do too well at the Afcon but that doesn't mean Hakimi didn't have an outstanding year. Chuks is a big no but you can make a case for Osimhen

What did Hakimi contribute to Morocco Afcon campaign?

What was Osimhen's contribution. Dude was more of a passive player at Afcon.

Besides, it is overall contribution in whole 2019 not just 3 weeks tournament. Afcon have its own award which was given immediately after final.

In that case... Kalidou Koulibaly should have made the top 3 then as Salah, Mane, and Mahrez "unfairly" has goals in their favor. grin

No naa... I am stating his achievements. Is that not what is done to make cases for the likes of Mane, Salah, And the others? I am stating what Osimhen achieved. Dude outscored Salah and Mahrez in the 2019 calendar year and has become a Ligue 1 revelation.
