Meanwhile spare fine thoughts for the manner and class in which both forwards, Osimhen and Iheanacho took their goals today. I guess we were just too excited celebrating so I couldn't tell you how they both executed their strikes. Mehn it was sweet to watch... Watching these two doing such on the same day to both open their 2020 accounts is good omen for Naija football this year. Lol Absolutely top class moves and finishes from both players. Just too awesome. If you haven't seen it yet... Iheanacho splendid goal... @ 1.00 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ozJBwgUtPZU Osimhen beautiful goal (reminiscent of one of the three goals he scored against Australia at Chile 2015). The Osimhen clean dribble na trademark... @ 0.35 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=htZevW6wBDE 12 Likes 4 Shares |

tbaba1234: Let me hear word. I remember when the complaint was that super eagles players were not moving to top sides and then last summer came. My league is ever improving and I stand by my words when I say this is the best it has been in years. We need more young players, this I agree but that is a complicated request because even the players themselves don't want parts of the league. If you and the government allow me I can grab a gun and force every talented 18 year old to play in the NPFL but if not you should cut the league some slack. 2 Likes |

BascoVanVeli: The problem is with the recruitment. There is something fundamentally wrong if the top league teams in the country can not attract the best young talents. If top league sides have proper academies, there is no way, they will not find kids to recruit from schools and elsewhere. That is the only way to increase the talent pool and bring fresh young faces. 1 Like |

i watched osihmens goal now and if you havent watched it, you should... the guy is mad, his technique even on high speed is crazy, i keep rewinding the goal... Firstly, he tore away from the defender and got the pass, delete the on rushing defender like he is not even there, and turned his body, even at rocket speed and placed ball in the top corner... sweet goal, honey goal... He never disapoints me... Best GOAL i have seen this year.. Best young striker in Europe... modified i just watched iheanachos goal now, wow, man is now faster, lighter and very very sharp, he knew what he was doing, and give him same scenario and he would score with his eyes close, this guy is coming back into the Eagles definitely with that goal.... see the way he ran into the space, even vardy cannot do better than that, and he got the vardy pass to his right and fire with his left... great beautiful goal... this is the type of news i like....chilling chilling 10 Likes 4 Shares |

Brendan Rodgers talks up Leicester striker Kelechi Iheanacho after vital goal Leicester boss Brendan Rodgers believes Kelechi Iheanacho is finally proving his worth after netting the equaliser against Aston Villa. “He’s a big talent,” Rodgers said. “He didn’t play a lot of football at Manchester City and it takes a bit of time to adapt. “But since I’ve come in his confidence has grown and grown and we believe in him and believe in his talent and this season he has really come to the fore. “He works so hard every day. He’s either making a goal or scoring a goal now and he works so hard in his pressing game. He was a threat when he came on tonight and I’m delighted for him. “It was a great finish. He’s been so important for us. You see his confidence all the time whether he starts or comes into the game, and that’s the beauty of him now – he is making an impact in games.” Iheanacho’s second-half goal cancelled out Frederic Guilbert’s 28th-minute opener and left the second leg at Villa Park on January 28 delicately poised. https://www.fourfourtwo.com/news/brendan-rodgers-talks-leicester-striker-kelechi-iheanacho-after-vital-goal 8 Likes 3 Shares

tbaba1234: In the next 2-3years, our goal keeping position would be having options a bit similar to what Senegal is enjoying now, with all three of their goalkeepers regular starters in the French league. I just wish we could get our own Onana from this James boy Bros please any news on John Amah? 4 Likes |
