Takeouts from the Oscar 2020 nomimations

The Irishman has 10 nominations including two Best Supporting Actor noms for Al Pacino and Joe Pesci.

Parasite has 6 nominations including Best Picture (which I think it should win).

Avengers: Endgame has just one nomination.

No Best Actor nomimation for Robert De Niro for The Irishman.

Nope, it's not the ONLY movie WB hopes to bring in money. That title goes to Wonder Woman 1984. It's singularly WB's biggest contender for $1bn gross.

There's also Kong vs Godzilla and Dune to bring in some major bucks. But yeah, TENET seems a bigger bet to make more money than these 2 I've mentioned. I think it'll make about $750-850mn in the box office. Just that that budget is risky for an Original movie these days. It needs at least around $700mn to be profitable.
WW84 is grossing 800m max.

Joker has just recieved 11 Oscar Noms at the 92nd Academy Awards. The highest for a CBM.

This includes;

Best Picture, Directing, Adapted Screenplay, Lead Actor, Cinematography, Editing, Makeup & Hairstyling, Original Score, Costume Design, Sound Mixing and Sound Editing.

Finally concluded watching three months after starting.

I don't like romantic drama but that argument scene, I watched it like six times over.


Brings back a lot of memories.

Love is a scam sha.
People only feel love when it is beneficial.

Just shitty.

What is the essence of saying she won't stop loving him when she can't be with him. That movie did not portray love. What they had was not love.

Love should be able to make sacrifice. I think it was the guy that was being selfish. Better love should be able to bend at some point in time in order to accommodate each other.

I was glad it did not win the Golden globe award
