horpeyemmi66:those with 283 JAMB score who didn't get admission into medicine might have changed to EBSU in the supplementary application. Those with 251, 259, and 265 are either indigenes or concessional students who paid up to a million Naira for medicine, and every university has a room for concessional admission insofar as you have the cash. Or probably non-indigenes that applied to EBSU for medicine scored very high. So, they chose few candidates. I'm a medical student there. I got in via direct entry admission. Even the indigene who applied with us and also graduated in anatomy from EBSU wasn't offered admission. He applied this year and wasn't offered medicine again, but he's an indigene and he even graduated with second class upper. At times, admission into medicine is by luck. 1 Like |

oyetunjibaba:there's no difference. They're all the same. The only difference is that the holder of exemption certificate didn't serve because he/she was above 30 years of age at the time of graduation. But the NYSC discharge certificate and the exemption certificate are just the same. No employer asks whether it's an exemption certificate or not. 3 Likes |

dunsin125:Try and get up to 290 in JAMB. There is this Yoruba girl who is a medical student in EBSU. Besides, the school fee was recently increased. First year non-indigenous medical students now pay N221,000. |

Those in medical field, I need clarification please. Community health and Public health nurse and Public health are they the same? (for someone aspiring to go through college of health) Also, under college of health, I am seeing chew, jchew and the rest... have no idea what they mean). I don't know if someone can be able to give detailed information regarding to college of health technology program. (I know school of nursing is pretty straightforward) |

BRYAN999:Greetings sir Unical post UTME is marked over 400 40 questions which implies each question is 10marks.Those for medicine will write bio, physics, chem, English and current affairs. To me,their post utme is one of the cheapest to score very high. Many persons do score 300 and above even those with jamb scores of 190,215 etc The exams last for about 30 minutes . What you score in the post UTME will be added to your jamb score and then divided by 2 The outcome will be your aggregate which will determine if you will be admitted or not. One thing I can say is if you aren't under their catchment or Eld try as much as possible to beat their merit cut off. They usually don't joke with their merit list. As at 2017,I got in through catchment I scored 282 in jamb and 280 in post UTME Aggregate 281 |
