Student visa rules are not the same as visiting visa. You need to read and ask questions about this before going ahead, i'm yet to see any one who used foreign bank account for student visa application from Nigeria.

I don’t think it matters. Uk visa rules are usually very clear and it has never been stated anywhere that you can’t use foreign banks.

As long as the account is in your name or parents name, you can prove they are your parent and ukvi can contact the bank to confirm the funds; you are good to go

Please I would want to get clarification on the deadline for enrollment. My class resumes on 20th with extension period til 17th February. Is it OK to travel on 28th cos that's when I want to travel.

You didn't post complete information that will enable people look into your matter and advise you. The date it was issued, lentght of your program so we check it it was error from visa officer

28th of what month ? I don’t see what’s wrong with traveling on that day (28th of January)...
As long as you have an extension till the 17th of February.

Contact the embassy immediately to complain. You will be called to resubmit your passport.

The joy of seeing the visa didn't make you check it. Tell your school what happened and mail the embassy. Your school may help and defer your admission or tell you to apply super priority act fast bro.

Yeah. From Canada in 2019. Yeah I got the not straightforward email, but i don’t think there’s anything serious attached to the mail. Because I wasn’t expecting my passport to be ready this week. I was only hoping and praying .

Yeah I’d probably get an extension because my course starts on the 30th. I’m applying ASAP and paying super priority ($1541). Thanks everyone. This is a lesson. Please always read stuff like these properly. I just feel like a fucking idiot.

u can upgrade to superiority if u haven't had interview but I don't know what will happen to the priority service u already paid for

I haven't dont biometric and interview, i was scheduled to do that on jan 28 but it is too far, i would cancel it and get a refund

Update: Guys I can't pay for super priority visa on the Gov.uk site. It keeps saying "Sorry, there was a problem processing your payment." I've tried different cards and it's not working. Should I try priority?
