The only strong southerner I can think of is among the names you mention is Wike.

Why is Buhari strong? It is because he is not always moved by media opinion. That is the first strength a president need in ruling a country like Nigeria.

The Yorubas are known strategist even since the days of our fore-fathers. We have a planned system of monarchy where we practice the present form of democracy in Oyo kingdom:
Excecutive - Alaafin
Legislators - The Oyomesis
Judiciary - The Ogbonis.

In the history of Nigeria after independence, the Yorubas have been the only group of people where any action in their region will always be felt by the rest of Nigeria. Check the wetie operation and its effect on our democracy and Nigeria as a whole.

Check the NADECO revolt by the SW and its effect on Nigeria democracy. We were the one that send the military back to their barracks and ushered in the present democracy.

Check the list of activists in Nigeria, the Yorubas always dominate the list because we are a tribe of intelligent and strong people.

Do you think if the Igbos were the pioneers of Amotekun, do you think the North will shiver? No, they will just send the soldiers to arrest the situation and things will slow down. But they can't attack Yorubas easily because they know there will be consequences.

Tinubu is not anti-restructuring, most of you guys don't understand Tinubu. The Yorubas most times are realist and we always explore all channels before going for the target. Tinubu currently cannot show his true color because power needs to be wrestled from the North.

Forget about his culture of silence, in the background he is supporting Amotekun and without him granting the governors the go-ahead they wouldn't have pull it through. Afenifere is weak, they are not the old Afenifere and it will be hard for them to front for the SW. They don't have any power in the West to bargain for the Yorubas.

Ohanezes also don't seems to have the power. Your governors are the one that still have some power to effect changes but I am not sure if they can come together to push for something of such. Having a leader sometimes is good because it will be very easy to rally people for a common good.
