Since the launch of Amotekun, IBB came out of the shadows to talk about it, now Gowon. Maybe Tafawa Balewa will speak his own next week. But I trust OBJ, he will use letter to finish all of them . All hail Amotekun, the slayer of the Northern Terrorists 4 Likes 1 Share

Yea its a reward for we the Minority North. It is not about Igbos, Hausa or Yoruba, it is about the oppressive nature of Northern majority towards the minority. Thanks to God our fathers cross the river to keep Nigeria as one. it could have being worse for us 2 Likes 1 Share |

itsme01:A lot people have read the story about what happened before and after the war. In all fairness, if Azikwe was killed along side other politicians then, there wouldn't be sentiment as regards the intention of the people that carried out the operation, but different things came to play as who and who that were killed from the North and Southwest. Afterwards, Ironsi action also showed that the nation had been hijacked by one section of the country. So, my brothers from the East need to analyse the whole thing very well and stop apportion blames. 3 Likes |

I want to see what pro-Amotekuns who have been insulting 'one Nigeria' since Arewa stood against it suddenly think. It will be interesting to read their comments. 1 Like |

1.The people who should feel regret are the Five Majors...Nzeogwu , Ifeajuana, and company. 2.In 1966, things were not well with Nigeria politically, and the Majors could see that. 3.What they should have done is resigned their commissions, gone into politics, and worked hard for change. 4.Instead they organized a coup that was supposed to install a left leaning, socialist, pan-africanist government in power. Instead, they opened Pandora's box. We know the results. 5.All in all, the civil war won't have happened if the five majors had resigned and gone into politics. Millions now dead would have been alive, and Nigeria won't have been so much on a tribal knife edge. P.S And the January 1966 coup was not an Igbo coup, thank you very much. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Gowon actually have regrets just like Danjuma but can't bring himself to say it. His people in the middle belt are bearing a huge brunt because of his actions today. Many of them are buried in mass graves multiple times every year. It has even become a 'national ritual' that Aljazeera and CNN no longer report it. It's the reason he has turned to pastoral work, gallivanting from church to church and organizing hopeless crusades called 'Nigeria prays'. The blood on his hands are too thick and will never be washed away. There is a reason God kept him alive to see the fall and rise of the people he massively murdered, blossoming all over the world and even winning political elections in European countries. 8 Likes |

LordVoldermort: That's one of the most interesting events of the Nigerian Civil War, and these are my reasons 1.Propaganda: The Feds were sending a message to the Igbos that the war was not a vendetta against them...see we buried one of your gallant heroes. 2.During wars, millitaries have often times buried the bodies of their opponents with full millitary honors. Not all the time , but it does happen. 3.The honest truth is that before January 15 1966, the Army was a very close knit unit. Many of the officers and men fighting with each other during the civil war were friends and pals during the First Republic. Add the fact that Nzeogwu was actually very Northern in culture. (he was born and bred in Kaduna, and spoke Hausa very fluently...). The coups messed the Army up (which is why over the years many Nigerian Army officers haven't really been fond of coups.) 3 Likes |

A house niggar is worse than the slave master. When you watch the movie, Django, you will realize what I mean Gowon is a house niggar sent from Sandhurst to do British bidding. In this Nigeria, even the Yoruba are not favored to be leaders unless the Yoruba is an obasanjo who is Yoruba in body, fulani in soul. This is the reason they killed mko and ousted shonekan. If the Yoruba and Igbo youths come together,we shall control our destiny. The political class of both Yoruba and Igbo are swines |
