This is a very silly argument. Even if a movie is a fantasy flick, it ought to have a good story that is free from plot holes. Is that too much to ask?

Exactly

Bombshell.

Don't know if I should give it any rating.

The fuss about the whole thing was unnecessary. Accused the man as if he forced himself on them, not a single time was the word 'rape' used. Women can be wicked and terrible. Not that I'm supporting the man's action but it is not a new thing in our world of today. Although, the man uses his power of authority wrongly which is very disgusting. But the actions of the women in this movie will not stop it.

These women want to achieve the dream of being a star on TV - FOX news to be precise. The man made his intentions known to you i. e what it will take for you to get there; and u choose the one at which u had to sleep with him to get what u want.

A good woman could have leave, keep ur decency and dignity. But no, your slutty head slept with the man to have what you wanted. After you had everything you wanted u now realized u had been sexually harassed. Because, a pained woman that just got fired decided to take revenge on her boss. The rest of them followed her. Pls, does that change the fact that they forget about their decency, act as a slut to get what they wanted?

Any woman can choose to leave If you want a job and the owner/boss give a condition that you have to sleep with him first. It's not by force. You ll certainly achieve that dream where no one ll ask of your body.

Truth is bitter.

And the one that started the revolution then went ahead to produce this movie, expecting the act to stop in the industry or life. At the end of the it all they lose that dream and the old man still remain richer than them.

And don't be surprised that lot of women will still tell another boss that does not want anything from them that they would do anything for him to get what they want - if u know what I mean.

don't take this the wrong way bros but you sound like a misogynist.

i've watched the movie too and am squarely on the side of the women.

what the man did was despicable and depraved.

sexual exploitation of female employees must never be condone/encouraged.

he used his position of authority to force sexual favours from his female employees and would-be employees, but what goes around comes around.

you know what they say about payback..."she's a bitch and her stripper name is karma."

his folly caught up with him and all the women he exploited in the past came out of the woodwork to sue the hell out of him.

even rupert murdoch was disgusted with him and had to fire him.

las las he got what he deserved in the end.

for the fact that you're here defending his actions instead of condemning it speaks volume of your character as a person.

Finally got around to see "Midsommar"...first of this movie was down right disturbing.. secondly the cinematography was stunning... thirdly the idea tho not fresh was refreshing...but i think the movie could have been so much more plot wise, seeing the director's cut i thought i will get more perspective but i would say it ended abruptly..

Like am so on the fence on this movie certainly not first choice to recommend to people because you can easily throw up seeing this movie but again the cinematography is breathtaking...

Finally was Ari Aster channelling his inner Christopher Nolan with that cheeky smile at the end scene? What did that mean? Liberation for Dani?

That, and the euphoria of sweet revenge.

I think i buy into DandeNumeruno theory, She has certainly lost everything and she had no life to go back to, the only thing connecting her outside was Christian, whom she wasn't really sure if she sees him as a boyfriend or an emotional support system (Why can't he be both tho), and remember the call she made at the beginning, he even forgot her birthday, i think her ties to Christian was severed finally with that sexual ritual thing..and now she's "May queen" and has a family in Hårga...so that last scene she's was like feeling sorry for Christian then probably remembered all what he has done and was like bleep this mf...hence the smile

In some wierd way i think Pelle knew Dani was destined to be "May queen".
And the May Queen and Pelle are so going to mate. Like animals.

Well, I have edited some words n sentences that may portray me as a misogynist. The post did not as well reflect my character. U may go n check again.

The point I was trying make was the ladies chose it. A good woman would have just declined. She will certainly achieve her dream where no one will ask for her body. They could have as well report to the upper room, I mean the chairman and if impossible decline as i've mentioned earlier.

Over the top actions with funny and touching moments sprinkled here and there, not without flaws, Michael Bay lays the groundwork for something that might become the next fast and furious-esqeu franchise. Seriously some scenes in this movie were borderline hilarious, the pop culture references were tight!

bros it's not as simple as you think. remember this is a man's world.

do you think it's easy to walk away from a well paying job, or any job for that matter? especially if you're a woman?

do you honestly believe that those women he exploited were willing tools

they bowed to his demands because it's either that or unemployment. and even if they were to report him to HR, he's the modafukin CEO. there is a high chance their whistleblowing will get back to him, which might prompt him to fire them on some trumped up charges to protect himself.

baba, there is no way out for these women. reporting him is out of the question. quiting is also out of the question because there is no guarantee they'll get another lucrative job so soon or ever. if you've ever being unemployed in a very competitive market, you'll know that walking away from a good job is pure madness.

the crux of the matter is that a CEO mustn't put an employee or would-be employee in a situation whereby they are forced to debase themselves in order to keep their or land a job. it's unethical, immoral, perverse and cantankerous.

that lowlife used his position of authority to take advantage of the desperation of his female employees, and ought to be registered as a sex offender, for he was nothing but a pervert imho.

I know. It is not easy for women and men as well.

We have seen women that decline such offer and still went ahead to make it well in life.

I agree the pervert deserved the karma that befell him. Karma ll come one way or another. In what the man did, Some have the karma reflect in their family, health or life but few rarely get expose. Why? Because, this women agreed to those things, get what they want and move on.

You should also know that she would have remain silent if she never had issues with her job and got fired. This her action also say something about her.

Getting rich, famous, successful have a deep story to it. Every rich and wealthy folks out there have one or two unbelievable string attached to their success story.

You should also agree that this won't stop this kind of immoral and perverse attitude in our society. But any evil and unrighteous men out there that engage in unethical negotiation like this just to help someone will one day meet their Waterloo one day and it will be mad gan.

It will play out well if a movie is made concerning both parties.

This is for those who are confused about the quality of movie to download.

Personally, there are basically 3 movie types to download, which are:

BDRip (BluRay Disk Rip)
BDRips are encoded directly from the BluRay disk, and are of the best quality.

BRrip
BRrip is encoded from a Blu-ray release, which is a ripped version. Thus, BRrip is a compressed version of an already ripped Blu-ray disc.

WEB-DL
This is a movie or TV show downloaded via an on-line distribution website (web download), such as iTunes. The quality is quite good since they are not re-encoded.

Anything outside the above formats, will be less enjoyable.

To save mb and retain quality, download in hevc/h265 format.

Source: Online search.
... I guess BDRip is also Same as dvscr

Truth is abuse of authority happens all round. It's not only sexual abuse of authority that takes place, it just seems to be the one that screams abuse most time. The man gave them a choice: take it and get what you want, leave it and pursue your dream elsewhere. They took the deal because their dream is greater than their dignity.
