I don't think the state government should reverse the policy. Look at that one with the placard trying to blackmail the government . 'we voted for PDP'. So if you voted for that party, should that be a ticket to do whatever you like? And I strongly hope the Minister of FCT will also look into Taxis carrying 4 passengers at the back seat 91 Likes 5 Shares |

The keke guys should look at the brighter side. Carrying someone in front is so inconveniencing to both driver and passenger. They will have no choice than increase fares in order to meet up.. 17 Likes |

It is for your SAFETY and the safety of Oyo citizens. We hope they understand sooner. What they should be protesting to the Governor about is reduction in the daily fee they pay to NURTW, there should be a considerable reduction in that. God bless Oyo state. God bless Nigeria. 29 Likes 3 Shares |

Pockets of protests here and there... Is Nigeria now becoming a nation of protesters??!... Sadly, if you call for an all out protest to set the nation back to default settings, many (including those that were paid by parties yesterday) would cower away in their penury. Mtchewww!!! 1 Like |

Wicked people. The person sitting in front can fall off anytime and it is always uncomfortable. The same should be applied to bus drivers too who carry four passengers on each seat. 7 Likes 1 Share |

It is wrong to carry a passenger in front. The problem is the #50 paid to OYRTW. A driver is expected to carry three people at the back with each paying #50 totalling #150. Out of this amount, he will pay #50 to the Owo-mi-da boys, budget for sunk fund to maintain the tricycle, pay up the premium on the hire purchase. How much will be his profit, if there is any at all. Government should stop the Owonida boys from collecting #50 with the same swiftness they use in implementing this law. Ooohhh! I forgot they are government boys. I don't even understand what stops these drivers from taking the war to the owomida boys with the same intencity with which they protest against the government. At the end of the day, passengers with fixed salary will bear the brunt in increased fare. Traders will simply use the excuse to increase price of goods. 9 Likes |
