Jabarzee:Most schools deal with quota and I am not sure the merit for medicine in Lasu will be more than 30 percent for merit and the remaining will be from either Diploma/Jupeb,Elds or so just remember as you are trying for that position so many others are looking for it and this also applies to everyone. The school will not tell us all these so we will prepare ourselves dey just want money from Diploma and limit number of the strivers to its bearest minimum |

Re: The medical students and aspirants thread by Zeeknow3245(m): 1:45pm On Jan 21, 2020 |
xendercage:It depends on which school u are intending on enrolling I am also considering it also if jamb doesn't work out well.for medicine it is very competitive I assure you only a little number that will be picked. It is not assumption that will make you pass your jupeb into 200level but hardwork as I was told so don't assume since you are in jupeb you will do less work ooo but the good thing is that you will be taught well na money you go pay na |

Re: The medical students and aspirants thread by Gemineye: 11:29pm On Jan 21, 2020 |
dunsin125:i think so....i don't think their admission quota is up to hundred |
Re: The medical students and aspirants thread by dunsin125: 11:36pm On Jan 21, 2020 |
Gemineye:it's 50. |
Re: The medical students and aspirants thread by Gemineye: 11:42pm On Jan 21, 2020 |
dunsin125:so i heard oo, but a Dr friend said the graduating set is 50. For admission i know they admit more than that. Nonetheless it's competitive and the screening exam is absurd. I'll advise a 300+ aspirant to pick UI instead of DELSU |
Re: The medical students and aspirants thread by dunsin125: 11:44pm On Jan 21, 2020 |
Gemineye:that screening exam is the problem. |
Re: The medical students and aspirants thread by dunsin125: 11:44pm On Jan 21, 2020 |
Gemineye:Yes, they admit more than that but not too much above 50 |
Re: The medical students and aspirants thread by Gemineye: 11:45pm On Jan 21, 2020 |
dunsin125:You've written it b4?? |
Re: The medical students and aspirants thread by Zeeknow3245(m): 11:48pm On Jan 21, 2020 |
Undilutedme:See no school 's easy to enter ooo even the Absu and the rest is not easy except you have connections but quite easier than the top ones |
Re: The medical students and aspirants thread by dunsin125: 11:50pm On Jan 21, 2020 |
Gemineye:no, I heard stories about it but I also have someone who had 78 or so in it... She is in 200lvl. I am still thinking about abia state university but I can't really find info on it. |
Re: The medical students and aspirants thread by Gemineye: 12:02am On Jan 22, 2020 |
dunsin125:I've written it, it's not really really tricky, just that there's is no pattern, you can't read for it same way u read for jamb. They can just decide to set a cooking recipe. This renders past questions almost useless. The school's management is something else. As at 2018 i had a pretty good chance the aptitude test was going easy, but their servers and computers just had to delay me. Imaging answering 50 questions within 30 mins, after answering one question and clicking next, it takes my computer forever to load to the next question. Long story short i left about 10 questions cuz time elapsed and i could only manage 64. I was maddddd, couldn't blame my self tho, if only the computer wasn't slow . 2019 we weren't allowed to use pencil nor biro, infact handkerchief to at least clean my sweat was not allowed, the questions were tough ,aptitude test was too tough not the type one can finish under 30 mins, maths was tricky, English was a bit tricky in the sense that you be given questions and options with nothing in italics or bold in the question. You'd have to decipher for your self what you're looking for and pick from the options. Some cases u just pick the odd option amongst em..... |
Re: The medical students and aspirants thread by Undilutedme: 1:28am On Jan 22, 2020 |
Zeeknow3245:These ones are quite easier to get in compared to other big schools. A "not too high"(I mean 260,270)jamb score and good post utme score will give u an edge. 1 Like |
