You can't be supporting the Security outfit and be supporting the Federal government decision same time. What peculiarities? They are all Yoruba states with the same culture and tradition, the same language, and facing the same security challenge. Tinubu is a sellout. 77 Likes 2 Shares |

There are more than 300 tribes and ethnic groups in Nigeria. Yet only 1 ethnic group amongst the 300 is complaining about Amotekun. Only 1 out of 300. 116 Likes 8 Shares

This same Old selfish Adebanjo and his bunch of selfish thieves Afenifere sold out Our then political light MKO Abiola and took money from Abacha...No true Cerebral Omoluabis supports them. Only Mischief Makers like the Igbos/Online IGBOs would always see any opportunity as a means to attack Our Political Leader bunch of hypocrites!! Tinubu is very smart and very Right on this He has raised the point most intellectual Omoluabis fear. We don’t want our Amotekun hijacked and be a shadow of itself like the NPF. So let’s do proper structuring. 48 Likes 7 Shares |

“The governors commended the former Lagos State governor and promised to look into the issues he raised “ Nice one. Tinubu spoke like an elder statesman and offered solutions on how to make Amotekun stand the test of time. He would be meeting with Akeredolu soon like he opined. Like Femi Falana rightly said, the SW governors should hastily legalize Amotekun and proceed to commence operations once and for all. The Yorubas should set our eyes on the target and stop being distracted by the usual vituperation on the media space which brings nothing meaningful but tension. The response of the Yorubas should be actions rather than shouting online. Agba to lomi ninu kin pariwo Amotekun is here to stay! 66 Likes 3 Shares |

Now, the south West seems to be speaking as one but the true test of Amotekun will come during election period because the opposition parties will accuse the governors for using the Western Nigerian Security Network for their selfish ambition. 7 Likes |

I am not Yoruba and I will vote Atiku before I vote Tinubu. But if Atiku is not on the ticket I will vote Tinubu ahead of any other person. Why? Because he is wise, tactical, strategic, and detribalized. Nigeria does not need an ethnic jingoist as president. If Atiku was an ethnic jingoist like Buhari he won't have the kind of support he has all over. If you don't vote for Tinubu if he runs for president, there are millions of Yorubas and other detribalized Nigerians that will vote for him. All of you calling for blood and war with your inciting rhetoric need to check yourselves. You are enemies of Nigeria. Are you ready to fight a war over Amotekun? Regardless, all wars will still end up at the negotiating table after countless lives have been lost unnecessarily. The man is calling for a peaceful resolution to the crisis of Amotekun. I don't support killer fulani herdsmen but if Nigeria must remain one then we must all learn to respect and accommodate each other. No ethnic jingoist can ever be allowed to rule Nigeria, and Tinubu has proved with his press release that he wants peace for all Nigerians while standing with his people. 67 Likes 9 Shares

Yoruba people are just delaying themselves listening to the federal govt. Amotekun should be implemented asap and if the federal govt stand against it, then Hisba and the likes of them should also be stopped. Protesting for Amotekun would do the Yoruba people no good cos no one would listen to them. They should just legalize and implement it. 18 Likes 1 Share |

Tinubu echoed the fear of the Presidency. The latter is scared because it is in a regional scale and that seems to worry Tinubu whom I perceive is tasked to quiet down that aspect and possibly cajole the South West governors to make it a state affair rather than a regional thing. Tinubu is indeed desperate that he is trying to be correctly politically. 1 Like 1 Share |

Tinubu said Amotekun should have been fashioned to the peculiarities of each state rather than having a regional structure . Tinubu is wrong. The method will be easy for sitting Governor to use them for political use. No matter how active O yes is in osun, they will never support Other party. 70% of N power Beneficiaries will.never think of considering other party cos of 30k slavery money. On behalf for SW, we say no to Tinubu cos of selfish and stupid presidential ambitions. 8 Likes 2 Shares |

Tinubu is very wise. What he simply said is that he supports Amotekun but that for it to fly properly they need to engage the Office of the Attorney General to iron out issues/details which was an initial mistake of the Governors. He also rebuked the AG for speaking hastily and characterizing Amotekun as a Defense rather than a Security outfit. Those criticizing him blindly like Afenifere have always criticized anything he says or does. Its open knowledge that Afenifere is a PDP leaning organisation. They backed Atiku to win yet they come round to accuse Tinubu of selling out to the North...as if Atiku is from Edo state. Hypocrites! 40 Likes 7 Shares |
