May be he should reason illogical and unreasonably like an empty loud mouth such as crack head Fani crazy.
A leader speaks with reason, logic and wisdom that will stand the test of time and common sense.
A true leader doesn't just shout and utter rubbish in order placate it's people, a true leader has to be honest and employ common sense.
Everything that Tinubu said is right on the money. Afenifebi will not like it because theirs is all about politics and self preservation in terms of political and monetary gains.
Afenifebi that we know in the SW is nothing but pdp crooks masquerading as fake leaders.

A desperately ambitious man is all I see here.

Wants to please both sides without offending anyone in particular.

That's how cowards operate..

Before nko, and i tell you tinubu will not smell that seat of presidency. He looks too desperate and doing things at the detriment of his pple. Watching in 5D how the Hausas /fulani will disgrace this man. They respect no one
exactly my point. He's too desperate and its obvious. A good and decisive leader doesn't speak from both sides of his mouth. If trump says he would hit you...its better not said because he would do just that. He has suddenly failed to realise the fact that fulanis cannot be sweet-mouthed. Whatever they'd do is what they'd do...if he likes, he should be beating drums and be blowing pipes in their support, they'd still disappoint him in 2023. He's yet to learn his lessons.

sad As a born again Christian who is meant to speak the truth at all times, i think this amoketun issue is being hypocritically blown out of proportion to expand hatred for other tribes especially the Fulanis. Why must we Christians be the brain behind the vast support for Amotekun when the Nigerian constitution is clear about the roles of the armed forces and police in the security of the country? Why must we form an ethnic militia to target fellow Nigerians when the constitution guarantees freedom of movement and doing business nationwide as long as we are Nigerians? What we fail to realize is that the south east cheering on Amotekun sees its as a synonym for their biafra agitations and they will rather support anything that will disband the relative peace and unity of Nigeria. The IPOB sympathizers will be the one to cry wolf when Amotekun starts targeting their tribesmen who commits various crimes in the south west. MURIC recently condemned the killing of a CAN pastor and sympathized with we Christians, how many Christians will condemn the killing of an imam or Muslims? Instead we rejoice when tragedy strikes them forgetting we are all humans before religion. Instead of emulating our Muslim brothers who have remained silent on this issue of Amotekun, we Christians are disturbing the cyberspace with hypocritical comments. Amotekun will never see the light of the day as long as we remain one Nigeria. It's a bad policy and a tribalistic security outfit aimed at persecuting other Nigerians. These so called Yoruba PDP parasites under the guise of Afenifere want Tinubu to come out criticising the FG for not supporting the initiative so that they will be the first to spread the propaganda of Tinubu "disagreeing" with Buhari.

You seem not to be a good student of English language. The 'but' in that sentence has negated his first statement.

Take a look at this: Wizkid is a good musician BUT his music teaches immorality.

Overall, what the above statement means is that Wizkid is not a good musician.

So, in summary, Tinubu is not in support of Amotekun.

If Amotekun failed tomorrow (God forbid) but eventually it does you all will remember that you have been advised,

Its easy to Kickstart but sustainability is the major task, starting from the

leadership: who will head Amotekun, each state will want to be the head, and once you have a bad head at the start up that's the downfall of Amotekun.

Recruitment: some states will be marginalized

Police and other agency: there will never be a synergy between the two, go and ask Civil Defense Corps, the later is still finding it difficult then who is Amotekun,

State Governors and Financing: out current state governors that they so wicked, to pay salaries and pensions become the hardest thing to do, funding Amotekun will be a problem to some state, with time some states will begin to pull out, and this will crash the program, curbing security and maintaining it gulp alot of funds, and southwest governors should not even think they will get a bailout from FG, this will cause uproar from the other region. Southwest governors will have to go sourcing for extra fund to support Amotekun.

Corruption: when the leadership is full with hungry lions then the downfall of Amotekun is certain. This will radiate down to the lowest officer.

My take:
Let the Amotekun be controlled at the grassroots, that's by state just as Tinubu and IBB spelt out or else Amotekun is dead before arrival, that's the honest truth take it or leave it.

Your opinion.

If I may ask, what have the security agencies done to quell the various attacks on people, killing them on their own farm at the same time destroying their means of livelihood by the marauding herdsmen who have no iota of respect for human life.

What cogent step or action did the federal Govt take to punish the offending herdsmen if at all any was caught?

The fathom destruction of live and properties including farm lands , houses, raping of women and several other heinous crimes and atrocities being committed and perpetuated by these devil’s men and advocate is being handled with kids gloves without any form of punishment to serve as deterrence to other offenders.

This leaves so much to be desired.
This leaves the job of protection of their people solely in the hands of the governors. Since the body language of the FG is clear and can be interpreted as saying “you are on your own.”

I really wonder what you are saying here honestly.
I guess you are taking this position because you and yours have never been at the receiving end of this evil acts perpetuated by this devil’s advocate.

If it is true that it is illegal to have such complimentary security apparatus, while then do we have the local vigilantes securing our various streets and mallams securing our houses when it is the job of the police and other security agencies to provide security and protection?

Why do we have the egbesu boys or what are they called securing the Onitsha main market.
Why do we have the Hisbah (sharia police) in Kano and other northern states where they are in operation, even if it is true that they were established by state laws ascented to by state houses of assemblies.

Clearly this is the spirit of community policing.

If it is good for hisbah then it should be good for Amotekun also.
If it is good for the northern states then it should also be good for every other part of the country, except we are saying one animal is more equal than the other.

Please let’s be reasonable, balanced and non sentimental in our approach to issues and analysis of the same.

Ooh I saw the part calling them militias.
Have they been seen bearing fire arms?
Are they not said to be playing a role complimentary to that of the police?
Is their operation not to be under close watch and scrutiny of the police and other security outfits?

Much ado about nothing.
Nigeria I hail thee.
The land of inequality.
The land where nepotism reigns supreme.
The land where bigots play the religious and tribalism card at every given opportunity.

It is well.

Yes, you are right on not being sentimental but when it comes to taking sides, there is no two ways about it, you either be for or against. Let’s say the obvious, he’s just been cautious because of his stake in this administration. But an average northerner will talk straight and you know his stand when it comes to situations like this. We have seen that repeatedly in this administration when people will be crying that they saw Fulanis who butchered or shot their kind men and the president repeatedly stood his ground that the fulanis only wield sticks, later he said they were not Nigerians, later the spokesman said it is better you surrender your ancestral land than to be killed and nothing happened. Don’t forget that the governors in question are not novice in government, they know the appropriate procedures, they even cane out to say they went through appropriate channels before setting it up . I bet you if they didn’t, the presidency would have ordered them to forget about it instead of just pushing people out to test the waters. In fairness, I went to Ogun State yesterday and entering the state, I saw two Fulani vigilante on a bike wearing chocolate brown uniform with dagger on the side, I was like, did they inform the agf before forming this even in the west where they don’t want them to have their own. So there is nothing bad if you stand by your people so far their of goodwill. No man’s ambition is worth the blood of any man

You don't know what you're saying brother. If you have lost a brother or family to the marauding Fulani terrorist I'm sure you would know better. This is simply to prevent such from happening. Did the constitution guarantee a herdsman the right to graze on someone else' farms? How many of those saboteurs have been arrested and prosecuted? Right to life is far greater than any constitution. Get that down.
