Wow 10? Were they painful?

Get tested. First positive symptoms is usually boils in the groin area beside the this thing about 2-4 places then sores in the mouth and weakness and fever.

I seriously don’t understand how I made this grave mistake.
February I went to A dentist for check up, I was tested , it was so negative , now after that mistake around June I don’t know what to expect again,am seriously am so scared.

I don’t have any boils or sores on my mouth.
But I noticed weakness and something like a swollen node on my armpit. ( though the left side goes down and comes out again)
I also noticed that My hair itches atimes. I still see the girl around the street though I don’t have anything to do with her again .

You have no worries just live your life. You can do a complete blood count if you wish.

been having mouth sores after and many other symptoms of hiv( excluding diarrhea, and nodes) after exposure even boils in groin. but negative after 6months. any idea what can cause it or test to do to completely rule out HIv.

Lot more ways to contact HIV but the most that lot knows is through sex. More has it this days which are not even through sex but due to common ignorance and silly mistakes... One must try and take every necessary precautions where necessary but I notice this days people don't even go on condoms anymore except when fearful situation warrant it... And the fact remains there is healing where healing is on HIV, I am into core herbal healing based in Lagos...

A nucleic acid test (NAT) can usually tell you if you have HIV infection 10 to 33 days after an exposure. An antigen/antibody test performed by a laboratory on blood from a vein can usually detect HIV infection 18 to 45 days after an exposure. If these tests say negative you are okay. Do a complete blood test to know what's up.

If u can afford do both. If not do NAT. Go to teaching hospitals they will have the Right equipment. Or u can say u want to donate blood they will screen u properly free of charge and tell I what's up. If u are in owerri fmc owerri screen donors thoroughly free.

FMc close to Amakohia. that's the state where I served, I will try that in government center here. wont they use the same anti body test again.

It was not easy to finally accept that I need to take this drug for the rest of my life, when ever I see guys playing football, feeling happy, I do feel sad like, so I can't do all this.

I am not a the type of guy that like clubbing ,drinking, humanizing, smoking, if today i try to tell any one I am positive they will not believe, because I don't have girlfriend you won't see me with one, but just that one encounter I had, here I am.
I began to wonder why me, I have friends that sex like a running tap and yet they are negative, could my ordeal be manipulated by village people? I heard one of my cousin died of AIDs at 31 and I am getting close to that age (though she was not that educational inclined ) could this be the hand of village people as some will say.

Still going by what I read on nairaland, the poster said HIV will not kill you except you choose to die I.e not taking your drugs. With several research I did online , I realised I can be undetected if I take my drugs religiously i .e if I go for HIV test the result will be negative but that does not mean I and free from the virus just that I can't transmit the virus to another person as long as I am undetected but I can't donate blood. That article helped me to stay alive.

The first week of taking the drug was not easy due to poor feeding life style ,no work/ and emotional challenge so i decided to seek for help on nairaland but no help came, I must survive this I told myself as I tried to keep my status secret in real life,I sold my laptop and some valuables.
Aftet 1 month of taking the drug, right now I am feeling positive about my positive status. And I believed it will end well.

HIV is real. If for anything use condom that person you see healthy you don't know what he/she is battling inside. Also know that this world we leave in is evil I became positive because a positive person intentionally pass it to me, but I told my self I can't do such evil to anyone not for any reason. Being positive is not the END but living positive is the goal.
How are u so sure the person intentionally passed it to you?

One thing is certain, take your drugs and maintain a healthy lifestyle of good diet, rest and habits, you will survive and may even have HIV negative kids with a knowledgeable and consenting partner.
