Storage business
I will purchase soybean @ 130per modu (
100modus is equal 1bag that 13000

100bags @ 13000 equals 1.3m

In four months(Feb-may) I will sale @ 200 per modu by May.

100bags will be sold @ N20000 per bag that 2m
That roughly 50% In four months.

Note: the price may rise as high as 300 to 350

Compounding: I can reinvest the whole 2m in another storage biz

Palm oil for four months again

May/June to Sept .
where will you resell Did you factor in your transportation cost

What is your storage method to ensure they won't get damaged

How sure are you with demand when you want to resell

I am asking because I seem to have interest in this, sounds cool

Resell: I will resell in d same market I bought. There are warehouses located very close to the market. You pay a penny for 1 bag to be stored for one year.

Storage method: I particularly picked interest in SOYBEANS because it's does not get affected by pests unlike maize. However there is a bag called PICS which can be used to store grains up to 12months without chemicals.

Demand: demand for agric products is always high. After few months most of the harvested Product are already consumed. So scarcity take place and dis have effect on d price.

I hope have answered your questions.

Well. The question is who will give out 10m.?

Back to the question on how to invest the unseen 10m.

Generally, Business atmosphere in Nigeria right now is not favourable and I must be sincere with everyone. Those doing it might just be trying to meet sales not like before.

My opinion;

I will love to go into agro commodity trading with it but recently our experience on it seems bad. Because the farmer now have a way of linking the factory directly with the aid of educated farmers among them which now block the chances of traders.

If I should go into stocking. There is tendency the maize or Soyabeans or any other grow mould and spoil on waiting for prices to rise. And as a matter of fact, one of the factory we supply already have up to 180,000mt of stock already so when do we think the price we move up? Even right now the price is going down on daily basis so if you had bought maize when the price was 95,000per ton last November will you be happy to sell now at 85,000 per ton.

If I should consider farming, the fear of fulani herdsmen will not allow me to sleep.

As a risk taking business man, I will think outside the box in investing my fund. I.e, I will deposit 5m into my account and use it to trade off Nigeria boundary. (Initiating colanut export from Nigeria and send to the Sahara/Sudan via air cargo where the demand is high) then with the remaining 5m. I will move quietly to Mali/Niger republic and settle down for 3months to buy cow gallstones .

I will buy 1 gram 600-1000cfa guaranty. And I will spend most of my time like a poor business man through out because 1. Hide my identity 2. To have some good bargaining power. 3. To avoid the Arab wahala.

If I should get 2kg within 3months I will be happy though its possible because almost all their cows in this region have it.

Next is to book my flight to HK.

2kg

1gram in Hong Kong is 47USD
47USD x 2000grams 94,000USD. So let's me calculate some other factors

1. Other Chinese buying
2. other Nigerian Hausa trader buying
3. Inability to speak good Arab. Might not be able to convince them and having an interpreter Also exposes me to danger of arab spy*

So 1kg is guaranty in 3months

1000grams x 47USD.
47,000dolls.

Note* 1000grams of cow gallstones will hardly filled up 3-4 boxes of st.Luis cube sugar. So having it I will not pay any duties.....smile.

Good morning

You buy store and resell in market. (Niger/Plateau)

Best time to invest is dec/Jan. Or at worst 1week of Feb but d price might be a little high then.

Setback: don't be too greedy on d biz. As for me what I purchase @ 130 let say it's rises to 200 in fourth month am ok will d profit. I don't need to wait until d peak price. Upon waiting for d peak price d price can even fall .so sell mmediately u are on profit.

Thanks

With the 10million,

I will purchase a Pet bottles bailing machine
Buy generator
Rent a space of land around Okoko/Badagry express.

I will go into recycling business.

I will buy 1kg of pet bottles for 15-18naira 18,000 per ton.

Transport to my yard for sorting and bailing.

I will therefore sell the white pet bottle around 40-47naira per kg, or 47,000 per ton.

And the green bottles for 70naira per kg, around 70,000 per ton.

I will design a plan to bail at least 4tons per day..

I will stick to local supply while I will pay contract sourcing agent for an export deal.

Europe, Asia, needs this product so much.

I will plan ahead in 1year time to acquire a pet grinding machine, and pet hot washer.

In other part of the land, I will grind the pet bottles into flakes there is ready market for that.

Gradually, in 5years I will have so much control over my business and employ other people(Average 25). Am adding to myself, helping my country, and promoting recycling/waste management.

Cheers.

Wake me up to get the 10m............please.
