Ashirioluwa: Thank you for taking out time to respond. We intend to travel immediately after the wedding say 2days after, which means we won't have the marriage certificate (Documents) before submitting the application to meet up our schedule, but we dunno if the Introduction photos, Pre-wedding photos, and wedding IV would suffice. |

Goodevening justwise and everyone on this thread, pls am new here. I want to submit my Visit visa application in March for Easter in April... every other thing are in other except my bank statement which is giving me concern...there are lot of irregularities in my account for the past three month because I just came back from Dubai. Although am not working in any firm but am a fashion designer. Although I just intend to start funding my account for the purpose of this visit Visa. My question is. Will it be okay to start the funding now and apply for the Visa in March providing them with just 3 months statement. Or i should wait then run my account properly for 6 months before applying for the visa |

Damzydaymond19: Where will the money be coming from? Source of your income is very important and your ability to support your income with evidence. 3months bank statement is not the standard, 6 months is. |

Source of your income is very important and your ability to support your income with evidence. 3months bank statement is not the My source of income will be monthly salary of 250k and also money coming from my fashion designing business...atleast around 100k every month. Or more. Also my late father's proceedings....I receive the sum of 600k every January from the family people. Those are my sources of income Although I will include that I have a landed property too |

First you need to properly document your appointment to manage the company and the pay rise from N100k to N300k signed by the HR (if company is a limited liability one). If its a one man business, you may not need the letter but you would need to show that paying yourself that much is justifiable and would not impact the business negatively. The ECO wants to see your steady income of N300K coming from one or more sources BUT be ready to explain with concrete evidence your affiliations with those sources to make the deposits credible enough. Next, run the account dilligently for 6 months and avoid any sudden huge deposits aside from the N300k you now earn as income from the business. You need to make sure your monthly expense is low and your disposable income is more than enough to cover your travel/vacation expense of not more than your 2 month's disposable income. All the best. Well done all the gurus in the house, a friend of mine submitted his application less than 10days, and the package has been released to receive, although he was refused by November, he was afraid now, bcoz it came as a surprise that the days are not up-to normal days. Maybe one has experienced it before. |

Good morning everyone, thanks for your input here. I have a global convening for a Health Fellowship I belong to coming up in July in UK. The Institute is sponsoring everything, from ticket to feeding, transport, visa costs and I won't be bearing any personal cost. This is a 5 day convening. There is going to be a letter to support this of course. I currently work for a dental NGO which I founded(I am a dentist and I am passionate about impacting rural communities)and of course I am not paid and majorly provide free services in rural communities. I don't do any other salary paid job as most of my income comes from gifts from family, freelance consulting freelance writing and public speaking. Here are my questions? 1. I am planning to apply in April after my trip to US, is that enough time to do so? Or do I apply before my trip in April. I have been to UK once but that was in 2011 to visit my cousins. 2. I am a little confused as to whether to state employed or self employed since I am not being paid by my organization and explaining my income. 3. If I plan to extend my trip for 3 more days to visit friends, what would I need to do? 4. Do I need to get the tax clearance for the ngo also? Please kindly help clarify thank you so much |
