false. They are leaving to stop influx if migrants

A country that survives mainly on tax will want more people that can come in, work and pay tax..
The immigrants they wanna stop are third world Europeans that come in freely cos of the EU agreement, pay nothing, almost contribute nothing and automatically have access to free healthcare and subsidized education same for uk citizens....once they start for a while they become permanent resident with full benefits...

but the point based will bring in those that will contribute...they will make crazy money from application fees....their shortage of doctors and nurses and other professionals who will work and pay tax will be better solved unlike when the EU law restricts them...

Do u know how much the uk makes on education , now they will be able to collect more international rates from the EU citizens who wants to study in the UK...

For those naive people, Britain will not let you in , what they'll do instead is to systematically re colonise your dumb asses, under UK Africa summit.

The growth rate of UK is expected to fall after Brexit, they need new sources for cheap raw materials.

But what do I know, our ancestors were also dumb. It's probably genetic.

The hypocrisy of Great Britain. They supported Nigeria and teamed up with communist USSR and Islamic Egypt to kill, starve and annihilate innocent Biafrans whose only crime is seceding from an evil union. Today, the same Great Britain has left EU, a viable predominantly christian economic union. Still, United Kingdom wants Nigeria, no matter how unviable and retrogressive it is, to remain one for the sole aim of being her cash cow.

It's painful how ignorant you people are.

You people talk as if the UK just splintered from one country into many. All that Brexit means is the UK is exiting an economic bloc, a bit similar to Nigeria exiting Ecowas.

So many mumus full nairaland.

So if UK exits an economic bloc that they've been reliant on how will they sustaine their economy?

Yeah they need alternatives, like dumb Africa.

UK. Its dicey ooooo.
The only sensible comment I've read here this morning. Many do not seem to understand the likely consequences. US has said they would not support them after Brexit. Again, the technological know how is owned by the Germans. Many companies have moved out of the UK and the latter depends heavily on them to live. Agricultural produce coming from the EU through the Calais port would now be very expensive due to taxes and other charges. That is not all, what of human resources ? To hire a professional from the EU to continue the existing task wouldn't come cheap.

I think the UK is as selfish as ever. I asked a Briton during the heat of the Brexit on wimpole street if he was happy about Brexit and he said nothing is permanent. They had to follow their leaders the way they did during privatisation which has worked so well that other countries are now embracing the model and if Brexit fails , they would have to come back to the EU, though at a heavy price.

He said the main reason for the brexit is the influx of EU's citizens to the UK to pick their citizenship. He said once a refugee enters EU and he or she becomes a resident in any of the EUs, his/her final destination is the uk and because of the agreement, to become a citizen becomes pretty easy and this is taking it's toll on their economy and security already. I wish them good luck but the decision would shake them and I do not see any prospect therein.

You get sense no be small, I don't have the patience to explain things thoroughly like this especially when some idiots think this is good news asper immigration for them.

One thing most don't understand until most of Africa is developed and GDP rises to at least 10k no one will open doors.

So what's the solution, fix your home first and respect will follow

You really are dense.

Exiting the EU does not mean the UK can't trade with members of the EU and the EU itself, just that such trades are not hampered by the dictates of the EU. Besides the UK trades all over the world.

You have neither education nor sense, common or otherwise.
