This your post is based on your delusion. We don't need your senseless post in this forum. Go and create your Igala forum and allow we Igbos relate without your interference.

How can Igbos in Niger Delta hate Igbos in the East ?! Igbos are one united people whose lands are contiguous to each other but are in different states

IDENNAA:

Yoruba are not necessarily Igbophobic they are just scared , disturbed, intimidated by the surging Igbo financial boom in their land....I mean , who wouldn't ? They are troubled they might wake up one day and their land will become Igbo owned. The people who really hate Igbo are SS Igbo.

I'm not sure you understand what colonialism was. It was slavery, but you stayed on your own land as opposed to being taken to the Americas to do your work.

The treatment was the same, colonists would often times amputate the hands of feet of men, women and children who failed to act or behave in a manner conducive to the colonists.

They even made Afriacns rename themselves so that the colonists had an easier time addressing them while oppressing them. Some Africans are here still saying they need to make their names easy to pronounce as if they're still slaves. It's unfortunate.

So, if a group did this to your people, would you still endure the insult of answering the names they gave you?

Could you stop posting all these gory slavery pics!?

Every race has a past when they committed all sorts of vile acts against humanity. Those times were called uncivilised/unenlightened for a reason!

My Oga, I reside in Atlanta, and I force whites, Asians, Blacks, Arabs to pronounce my full name, my full Igbo name.

I'm proud Igbo. If you can say Arnold Schwarzenegger, you can say Uchenna, Ebuka, Chima, Chukwuma, and Chioma.

Be proud of who you are or no one else will.

I'm a proud Igbo as well! I went to Malaysia and realized that the vast majority of the people who quite friendly couldn't pronounce my native name to my satisfaction! I don't like people mispronouncing my name. I had to tell them my baptismal name.

So, how could I hate them just because they were ignorant?

Again, all Igbos have Igbo names! English names are mostly baptismal names. The vast majority of Igbos today are Christians! You can't force your view on them

I'm assuming you yourself have English names, abi?

If you do, I don't blame you, many of our parents were still suffering from the mental impacts of domination, inferiority complex, and colonialism.

However, our generation can end those things as we are wiser and don't look at the European as superior to us as Africans. At least, the majority of us no longer think this way.

However, once again, you are free to call yourself "William Davis Chistopher Cooper Wallace Njoku."

I have an Igbo name, a baptismal name, and an Igbo surname! I will do the same to my kids.

I'm fiercely Igbo as it can get!

All Igbos have Igbo names. That's one of our identification

The problem with those bearing Igbo names who are indegiens to the newly created political space named the "South South" is that their denial of who they are weakens them and their cause, to the point where smaller groups in the region can boss them around because they voluntarily cut themselves off from the larger Igbo Nation.

Moreover, when Igbos help those residing in the South South who have Igbo names, it often back fires.

Rivers State and Bayelsa State used to be one state. And the Ijaw would artificially inflate the number of votes coming from present day Bayelsa and would win every election in the state due to these numbers.

Rivers Igbos had no political voice.

It was Igbos from the Southeast, led by Former VP Ekwueme who said, since Ijaw have such a high population in Bayelsa it's unfair for them not to have their own state, he used the voters registries to bolster his point.

Eventually his agenda went through and Rivers Igbos were made a majority in one state, while Ijaw we're made a majority in the sister state.

As expected, the population of Bayelsa reduced by 73% upon becoming a state, thus revealing the electoral magic that had been taking place during the prior 17 years. The Ijaw claimed it was because of mass migration to PH, but that's another story.

So Igbos helped out those from the South South, however are still viewed with vitriol.

That's why the new generation is focused on the SE. Imagine if the SE Igbos put their efforts into a 6th state for the SE, where such efforts will always be appreciated.

Some Igbos in the so called South South are short sighted! However, we still have many pro Igbo communities over there. The vocal minorities make the largest noise!

Whichever way it is, it will be a win for our kinsmen in the Niger delta. My State also belongs to the Niger delta

I will not be surprise if yoruba or hausa are behind this attacks on the traders.

That is to say, they gave Ghanaians the nod.

Since last year those shops have remained closed.

It is foolishness to have a business anywhere outside igbo land and not have backup in Igboland.

One dey they will pursue u but u can still be making money from the back up.

Business dey get branch, no matter how small.

Let us take the positive out of this and learn.

U SEE ALL THIS STATUE OKOROCHA PUT IN IGBO LAND, WILL BE DESTROYED IN THE NOT SO DISTANT FUTURE.

IT IS THINGS LIKE THIS THAT MAKE ME SAY, LIVING WITH YORUBA AND HAUSA HAVE MADE SOME OF OUR IGBO PEOPLE VERY FOOLISH.

THIS IS THE SAME FOOLISHNESS OF NNAMDI AZIKIWE, FANTASIZING ABOUT A NONEXISTANT UNITY.

HOW IGBO GOT TO WHERE WE ARE NOW, BEING THE NUMBER ONE TARGET AND MURDERED EVERYWHERE.

ALL THOSE STATUE WILL BE BROUGHT DOWN. Y DID YORUBA OR HAUSA NOT BUILD SUCH STATUE ON THEIR LAND, AS THOSE BENEFITING FROM OIL AND GAS BROUGHT BY UNITY?

COMMON SENSE SEEMS TO BE MISSING FROM IGBO PEOPLE PLACED IN CRITICAL POSITION OF LIFE AND DEATH OF THE IGBO NATION.

NaijirianKing:

Igbo have unwisely put themselves into a bind in Naijiria, where unity is a must.

Igbos have invested billions of dollars into the economy of the North.

Igbos have invested billions of dollars into the economy of the SW.

Igbos have made it our mission to live and economically invest heavily in all regions of Naijiria, therein becoming more Naijirian than Naijirians, who in all honesty never asked for such an investment, and regard Igbos accordingly.

This, unity is necessary since many Igbos would be destitute for a generation or two if access to Lagos or the North was cut off by complex visa requirements for Easterners if Naijiria one day breaks and thus those places would be foreign countries with their own immigration policies.

And there is no doubt that elements within those countries would make it their business that Igbos never return to their investments.

So, in short, we've put ourselves in a position to where unity is key for us in particular.

THOSE BUSINESSES, WAT WILL HAPPEN IF BRANCHES ARE TAKEN TO THE EAST?

IT IS EVEN SUPPOSE TO BE BASES IN THE EAST AND BRANCHES ELSEWHERE.

MUST THEY PUT ALL THEIR EGGS IN ONE BASKET?

THIS IS WAT WE CALL FOOLISHNESS.
