Most Igbo girls consider Igbo language mgbekeish...they give their children white names out of inferiority complex and never speak our language. This is the reason why I push for a strong consciousness of our various sub tribes. Most Igbo women married to Yoruba have no respect for Igbo culture...if you say to her Nne, kee ka imelu she replies you with huh! |

IDENNAA: U KNOW ALOT OF OUR PEOPLE GREW UP IN AREAS WHERE IGBO IS NOT SPOKEN. SOME CAN HEAR BUT CANNOT SPEAK. SOME CANNOT SPEAK FLUENTLY. WE NEED TO ESTABLISH WHERE DEY WERE BORN OR GREW UP. JUMPING INTO CONCLUSION CREATE MISREPRESENTATION AND FURTHER PROBLEMS. WEN WE HAVE OUR CITIES IN THE EAST, ABOUT 75% OF OUR PROBLEMS WOULD HAVE BEEN SOLVED. 3 Likes |

NaijirianKing: I hate inter tribal marriage but its meant to happen but what matters is the extent. Most of these Igbo women married to Yoruba are mostly Lagos based ones who never learned Igbo culture. And , no Igbo women are not known to cater to men , so , they will not be bringing any wealth to Igbo land. How many did Stella Damascus brought ? |

IDENNAA: I AGREE WITH U ON THIS ONE. NIGERIA IS A PATRIARCHY. THIS IS Y YORUBA SEE MARRYINGOUR WOMEN AS DEPOPULATING IGBO. THEY HAVE SAID DAT COUNTLESS TIMES ON THIS THREAD. SOUND SULTAN A YORUBA MUSLIM, MARRIED AN IGBO GIRL CALLED CHIOMA AND CHANGED HER NAME TO FARIDA. THEN AFETR HAVING KIDS DECLARED ON SOCIAL MEDIA, THAT ENGLISH IS NO LONGER ALLOWED IN THEIR HOME. IT MUST BE YORUBA. https://www.bellanaija.com/2019/11/sound-sultan-yoruba-kids/ |

NaijirianKing: COMPARING NIGERIA TO AMERICA IS LIKE COMPARING DONKEYS TO HORSES. ONE IS PATRIARCHY, AND THE OTHER IS MATRIARCH. WOMEN OWN THE KIDS IN AMERICA AND IN NIGERIA THE MEN OWN THE KIDS. |

Eziukwu road aba (phase 1) These roads have been bad for as long as I can remember, am happy the are getting much needed attention. Milverton road is where most luxury vehicles offices/take off and offloading point is located. While eziukwu roads leads to cemetery market forward to ph road. It also has a considerable number of Banks. 6 Likes

NaijirianKing: Nigeria and its inhabitants are pitiably hilarious. Is public water supply in Imo state being hoarded? If so, who actually cached it? If actually Owerri has the benefit to enjoy public water supply, Hope Uzodinma definitely has no hand in it. |

BUT OHANAEZE ARE FULANI ASS LICKERS, SO THEY DONT KNOW WAT THEY ARE DOING. EZE ERI SEEM TO BE THE ONLY ONE THAT MAKES SENSE OUT OF ALL OF DEM. HE IS CONNECTING IGBO STOLEN IN TRANSATLANTIC SLAVE TRADE BACK WITH THE IGBO HOMELAND. THIS IS WAT KINGS DO. 1 Like

ALL THE DEVELOPMENT, IF U PROVIDE GOOD SECURITY AND FACILITIES, THESE IGBO AMERICANS WILL BUY. WEN U HEAR DEM SHOUTING YEAR OF RETURN IN GHANA, THIS IS WAT GHANA IS TRYING TO CATCH IN ON TODAY, BY TAKING IN ALL OF THEM FROM ALL PARTS OF AFRICA AS GHANAIAN. INSTEAD OF LOOKING FOR THE ONES WITH GHANA DNA, DEY GREEDILY TRY TO CORNER ALL OF DEM AND ADD TO GHANA. SO FAR IS WORKING AND DEY ARE DRIVING GHANA HOUSING MARKET AND BOOM. 1 Like |

IDENNAA: You still don’t get it. Igbo women are free to marry whom they fall in love with. I just don’t support it with groups that hate or wish so much evil against the igbos. There are so many igbophobic groups that want to marry igbo women. Yorubas are known for that. I have no problem with igbo women marrying ibibios or Efiks and similar groups. They don’t have a history of wishing us evil. You can’t hate and antagonize us yet come the next day to marry from us. Even here on Nairaland, some of the biggest tribalist are married to igbo women. Edo is included in this. 3 Likes |

THE NUMBER ONE KING IN IGBOLAND IS EZE ERI. HE IS THERE FOR THE IGBO PEOPLE NOT NIGERIA GOVERNMENT OR BRITISH OR BINI. A KING IS ALWAYS FOUND AMONGST HIS PEOPLE. EVEN THOSE TAKEN AWAY 500 YEARS AGO INTO SLAVERY IN AMERICA. 1 Like

WAT PAINS ME MOST, OUT OF ANYTHING IS DAT LIVING IN NIGERIA HAVE MADE MANY OF OUR IGBO PEOPLE INHERIT ABOKI AND AFONJA FOOLISHNESS. WE MUST NEVER ALLOW THEM DWARF OUR GROWTH. THEY SUCCEEDED FOR MANY YEARS BUT GOING FORWARD DAT ENDS. |

hammerU: When Ghana declared the year of return last year, I was jealous of them because I have thought about igbo land doing something like this for years. Now Ghana is already reaping the investments. A lot of people in the diaspora have done their DNA and confirmed their dominant igbo ancestry. Yet we as igbos haven’t opened up our land for our lost brethren’s to come and visit and invest. We are missing a big opportunity. We don’t have to wait for Nigeria before we declare our own year of return and start building our tourism industry. 3 Likes |

horsepower102: HAUSA AND YORUBA ARE INHERENTLY BACKWARD. THEY EVEN CALL THEMSELVES DAT. U SEE WEN DEY FIGHT, THE TRUTH COMES OUT. I HAVE BUILT A HOUSE IN MY VILLAGE AND INVESTING IN BUSINESS THERE. THOSE HOUSES IN AWKA CAN BE SOLD TO THOSE AMERICANS VISITING. IF THEY CAN VISIT NIGERIA OR IGBO LAND, THEY CAN AFFORD THE HOUSE. WE LONG TOLD THEM TO PROVIDE COMMERCIAL SPACE AND PROPERTIES ALONGSIDE THE HOUSES FOR BUSINESSES. |

horsepower102: Yoruba are not necessarily Igbophobic they are just scared , disturbed, intimidated by the surging Igbo financial boom in their land....I mean , who wouldn't ? They are troubled they might wake up one day and their land will become Igbo owned. The people who really hate Igbo are SS Igbo. |
