@Jimi, perhaps you should understand why Algeria build up their military the way they are doing it, who told you it was to defeat terrorism? smh And i will rather a country is over prepared for war or conflict, than to be under prepared, that's why BH caught Nigeria with her pants down. So if Algeria is stupid like you said, or whatever word you used, then Nigeria is a lost cause 10 Likes 1 Share |

Thousands of rounds of ammunitions concealed in Jerry Cans arrested as they were trying to cross the border into Nigeria through the bush paths (supposedly from the black market of Libya and some crisis prone North Africa) 3 Likes 1 Share

You want to close the entire border crossings because we are at war? ha. okay. That tells me we've lost control of things, no need to close the border entirely, create a choke point, if you will, that is have certain designated border posts where people can come in and exit, and check everything they have with them. Illegal entry routes should be the main concern. Creating more hardship for people already suffering will only breed resentment. Desperate people will simply find another way in, to smuggle in their goods etc. So why not create a way for legitimate individuals to carry on with their business tsdarkside: 2 Likes |

bidexiii: It is brand new. The upgraded MI 171E did not come as a version till after 2015. It is a reconfigable version. You bolt on new parts as per the mission. Guess where the money came from to buy this? . It was not on the budget for the last four years. |

Sizzorkay: There are designated official ways to carry on business. The problem is for the last 40 years 'business ' in Nigeria had meant criminal activities, economic sabotage and tariff/tax evasion. |

bidexiii: We're witnessing significant improvement in the provision of equipment and kit at the squad /platoon level. However, corruption and stealing of funds should stop. Nigerians also want the entire insurgency to be brought to an end this year. If the top brass is truly and deliberately prolonging the war for pecuniary gains, they will be exposed individually and dealt with even when they must have left servicr 1 Like |

Didn't i saw what? huh? dude, its simple common sense, you don't shut down all land crossing points because of terrorists. Terrorists will simply find another route in, and those mini states you talk about, trade with border towns within Nigeria, and those people in these areas, their livelihood depends on those trades. Instead of putting more manpower and deploying better tech, they are closing borders. That's what people do when they've ran out of ideas. Think tsdarkside: 2 Likes |
