Just incase I'm not here to update, I'd show you something, if USDJPY goes below its low of today about 20pips down and GOLD is still below 1580, add another buy [of course it's better to add when in profits] and just let the market perform. Nzobu zobu, eyimba eyi!!!

It's going to be difficult to relate what you stated above only yesterday and what you've quoted below now. Two extremes, although I urge you to never be definite in these markets even I could be wrong [but hardly with Gold sha cheesy]
You don't notice the news I post from time to time which I put together to form a bias for my direction? I pay attention to fundamentals bro but I'm purely technical in my entries, I'm very risk averse so I love to take trades at points with minimal drawdown and high potential to move. How do you make assertions like "Bears have run the bulls already". What indications have brought your bias to such precipice?
So you don't use my kind of charts and lines and don't do technicals, you just do your news feeds and inside info trading, how has Bollinger Bands come about now? You wan join us ni cool? No go waste your subscription oh!
Well I'm highly of the opinion [of course I expect to be wrong most times] that Gold is on it's way to reverse this down day and probably create a new high to around 1600. I wish you good in your selling.

Let me summarize for you, because I don't know if you deliberately skip my replies to you or you don't just see it.

on Friday you said selling Gold, I told you we are all buying and expecting higher high till the Monthly candle of February closes.

Yesterday you asked which direction Gold will continue, I told you I don't know, it may jump up or down once market opens, and I'm not placing any buy to scalp if I do not see the Monthly candle of this month form lower shadow, and today the down trend is doing just that for the Monthly candle to Form lower shadow in anticipation if uptrend, as for today, I'm not scalp any buy on Gold, but sell, I will only keep taking those sells on correlation which is very safe for us.

Bro there are 100s of tips and seminars on these things on the internet but you know I never recommend most of those things. Just between this post alone and this moment, my account has added almost 100% already. I would always say a strategy with an edge is what would kill your fear of the markets.

These are the lines that a few here have called rubbish and waste of time, but I fear and worship them because they have constantly proven effectiveness to me, so I see what they show me and jump in the well with 2legs. What's the worst that can happen, i hit soft sand [tight SL],of which I'd survive and try again or I hit a spring board that would make me forget I ever jumped and take me higher and higher [this happens most times].

For the patience part, after repeatedly going through the pain that you ate 10 weeks old chicken and thought it was sweet but the day you mistakenly ate 25 weeks old chicken and even swallow the bone sef, then you'd never see small chicken [small profits] and not say abeg let me wait for the correct time before I chop cheesy
They say I talk plenty rubbish, but these are the ways I learnt and let it stick to my head so I can rinse & repeat.

These methods seem simple and inexpensive [even free if you let me guide you in all humility, as i still dey learn common English sef smiley]

saxy4c:
Closing here with 80pips 2R.
Next week looks like some major moves are in play as most pairs are on major support and resistance.
My most probable trade would be to sell EURCAD with 40pips SL and looking for way down.
Then this one is a pure gamble, definitely everyone sees GBP going up on a BREXIT as that should take Pound higher.
I'm risking 10% to SELL GBPUSD at 3200 and 30pips SL , expecting a gap of at least 500pips down on market open. Hope February brings the start of high precision trades again. At least most of the BREXIT and CORONA would be over as the Chinese don find cure.
Have a great weekend guys.
Re: Forex Trade Alerts: Season 20 by saxy4c(m): 12:13pm On Feb 03, 2020
cheesy cheesy cheesy I should read about market correlation? Ok boss. You said correlation point which I'm sure theres nothing in the markets like that and you'd never find in the whole of even mighty google.
Correlation can never be a point, and you can't refer to it with a single pair in mind. It must always be associated with 2pairs as one would be positively or negatively related to the other.
Except you're trying to mention Inflection or correction points where you expect market to make some corrections. These things are basics in this business [I'm still going to go to babypips this weekend though]

You just want me to keep explaining everything to you in a drawing board, correction point is where the reversal of the market can takes place, I gave you the point (price) 1580 Safe place to sell gold.

GBP/USD CORRELATION POINT WAS 1.31687 for selling.

I wasn't making guesses. Although, I wouldn't consider myself a professional but I'm definitely not amateur bro.
Yes it was very unlikely for the Pounds to drop with the momentum we saw of friday moves but they've each dropped about 300pips within about 12hrs of market opening.
I won't say it will go down 500pips today because GBPUSD left a 20pips gap open at 3180, so a good buy to close that would be Entry at around 3030 [ where I would take a pause on my GBP sells] with SL 2990

4. Gauging the likely rebound is much harder. There is a reason why currency trading should be left to professionals - not amateurs guessing on the internet like me.

some of those trade hit sl. i guess you reentered again
Re: Forex Trade Alerts: Season 20 by saxy4c(m): 1:49pm On Feb 03, 2020
So as a good trader, you'd let trades that were giving you almost 100pips each on 30pips SL to now totally swallow those profits and still even go to hit your SL? God forbid I'd trade like that until I retire.
Remember that's what @blackeuropean pointed out was a flaw to your trading? You let good wins rollover to bad profits. Why have you scrapped your myfxbook by the way?
Of course, I closed in profits while market was reversing, I mentioned last week as well that some hit SL and I've been crying since before market close that i was selling pounds. There is nothing to guess, the trades are shown on NL and my screenshot.
Why are we so focused on SL trades on here and not see the magnanimous wins and the possibility that we can replicate these gains in our accounts? [Not referred to you] But is it because we are so much used to losing?

Actually no one can give you one answer solution to that, but I will advise on : Trade less and plan thoroughly for few trades you taking like know your precise entry, exit, worst case scenario(risk)
With that your confidence will increase.

Now I have a clear opportunity to compare and ask you this question. I'm kind of uncomfortable with the points you enter your trades but I see it works more times than not. I want to believe you wait for some kind of confirmation before you enter your trades right? Can you kindly explain what you look out for on entry.
I'm seeing that if I can get this your kind of confirmation on like say a daily TF, then I can generate almost perfect trades on the 4H.
I took same trade on friday based on my aggressive type of entry and its almost 50pips up and your trade is most likely to TP also. I might advice to move your TP 100pips below, you'd enjoy the risk you took better there, but please your plan is priority. But then, what if I have none of my trades hit SL at all? C'est possiblé!

We are waiting for bull but definately not today, Bears have overrun the Bulls already, the bears may continue tomorrow but lets see how it closes today first. If you are using bollinger bangs, check your bangs on gold, Regards.
why will anyone wanna buy gold midterm to longterm when all point to the downside.... the last bull run was just for the smart money to cover there exposure which have been done already, everything is set for the down move in few days it will become glaring except some swan event occurs, for now fundamentals will be favouring equity market as uncertainty of the coronavirus is getting taking care of and britain economy will start getting clearer...

the high of January is going to be the top for the 1st and probably the second quarter, a cyclical movement is almost formed on the 4hrs chart which have proven to be a potent market signal....

na just my observation oooo not a trade call, market could rubbish it all and do its thing...

the truth is there is nothing like inside info in forex trading...the so called bloomberg terminal have minimal to no advantage to trading successfully, its only a gathering of wanna be big bois....the researches are out there for those willing to know about all so called news rooms and overinflated price tag shit...sometimes they work and sometimes they fumble like all other analysis method....infact its a forbidden rules for bank traders to share information on clients moving big money to other banks or even same bank trading terminals (say for example apple is planning on moving 2yard of usd to japanese economy, a trader on the trading desk is not even allowed to share such huge info with fellow trader on the same adjourning trading desk in the same bank talk more of bloomberg terminal with verifiable members...people have lost theri jobs, bonuses and convicted for such leaked info)

for the record i have no reason to talk down on anyone, am only here watching as things unfold...alot of great traders with info are underneath watching things on this forum....
