My people let us DEVELOP Nigeria.

Enticing our best brains to develop their own countries while Nigeria continues to be a shit hole is what we call MODERN SLAVERY.

God help us activate our BRAINS and get a freaking VISION !!!

Unskilled or low skilled people will not get work visas, they can and will be issued tourist visas. This has always been the case for people from Africa. There is nothing groundshaking or startlingly new in this policy. Only in the case of Europeans does it sound like a material change.

What this invariably means is that the UK is no longer accepting people with low Education or Technical know how into it's territory. For those saying "Education na scam" you better sit up.

This new policy will favour non-EU workers. Now they have equal working rights with EU guys.

£25000 is a fair amount to earn as a graduate. Since the scheme requires Applicants to have a job offer or be on the occupation demand list , the minimum amount an Employer should be offering should not be less than 23k logically thats graduate entry salary in the UK.

Working part-time as a student , you earn £5k to £9k , so as a graduate £23k-26k aint bad. But if you intend living and working in London, £30k seems more like it

The 20,000 visa allocated to young ppl have been largely unused by Nigeria youths especially the undergraduates.

This is another to prepare yourself for easy migration to UK after graduation.

I hope our youth will start using this opportunity. if you require further information about this, just quote me and ask, I will try to answer.

This is good news for Nigeria.

The same Nigerians Trump is rejecting in his hypocritical travel ban will be welcomed in UK

Nigeria has a higher percentage of adequately-educated people and this is what UK seeks.
While US is throwing away people who funds their tax system, UK will welcome with open arms
But did you observe how these same Nigerians always jump into nairaland hailing Trump to the high heavens? Make Dem go US na.

They should learn from US. Make your country attractive to graduate students, and she won't be short of highly intelligent students all over the world.

This is great, only the intelligent ones would be allowed in.

Europeans would begin to see skilled Africans and gradually perceptions will change.

All those low iq immigrants who went through Libya are behaving like animals making it difficult for others.

Downside is intelligent people will continue to leave and low iq ones will remain and continue to breed.

Meaning Nigeria is doomed.

From what I have read so far, people working with an income of 20k but less than 25k can apply.

So this means people who are already living and working in UK?
