If you land in the States with age on your side and want to live a life of low debt (because debt is inevitable), then join the military and further whatever career you want after serving a few years or even further your career in it but you need to have sense otherwise you'll be discharged dishonorably.

An 0-4 officer in US military who earns 85-95k salary is better than a nurse who earns 100-120k. You won't understand this until you wanna live your dreams of buying a home. People will always move around. Those same foreigner may not be doing well in their own country till they arrived Nigeria. Some Nigerians may also not be doing well in Nigeria till they move abroad. As per the op, hopefully she can indeed return to England. I think she came from the UK.

Being deported itself is not a bad thing, many deportees go on to do great things and use the opportunity well.

We continue to be exceptions. I’m nowhere near pension receiving age. The RadAutoWorks seems to be a young couple nowhere near pension age and what they’ve planted in Nigeria couldn’t possibly be from some converted pension money.

Some of us just love Nigeria and came back to make significant investment. Has nothing to do with pension.

Lol, this is not entirely true, some returned for better prospects especially during 6 years of GEJ's presidency. Many people abroad came home to establish businesses. Then Banks were recruiting people with foreign certificates and paid them fat salaries. When we get a better president, inflation drops, and enabling environment for business is creates many more people will relocate back home.

I understand you. Well what worked for Mr A might not necessarily work for Mr B. I was one of those that returned during GEJ's era but also relocated still during GEJ's era. If the economy gets better, maybe some would indeed return.

Atleast, the money invested must have come from somewhere (Most likely not Nigeria). Those abroad can also follow your lead by making that money overseas then return to invest in Nigeria if they are business minded.
