Why is prince Harry giving up his royal heritage? because he married a colored woman and British press can't phantom this. The same way Diane was killed for daring to date an African. Name one black British prime minister ever lived despite black population. Leave that man, you're totally right, racism is very real even in UK

Good! If I ever think of relocating to the United Kingdom, I would opt for either Birmingham or London City.

Thanks.

I have checked job sites for those locations and there seems to be enough jobs offerings for business intelligence analysts and data scientists that both apply to me.

If you land in the States with age on your side and want to live a life of low debt (because debt is inevitable), then join the military and further whatever career you want after serving a few years or even further your career in it but you need to have sense otherwise you'll be discharged dishonorably.

An 0-4 officer in US military who earns 85-95k salary is better than a nurse who earns 100-120k. You won't understand this until you wanna live your dreams of buying a home. If you put all the discounts in things as little as gas bills, small as car insurance and big as home mortgage, you'll be proud to shout oorah. cheesy

Hi bro, I just sent you a pm regarding this, thank you.

It saddens me to read this. I moved back a year ago and it’s been good. Wished I moved years earlier.

Can you move back to where you came from?

Yes, was expecting to see this from you.

Actually, he might be desperately trying to convince himself that he made the right choice moving back to Nig. (perhaps he had no choice)

Always curious why they whine and not move back to where they came from.

I meet so many foreigners in ordinary Ibadan, not even Abuja or Lagos who are doing quite well for themselves here.

Met a Philippino operating a tomato farm here the other day.

People will always move around. Those same foreigner may not be doing well in their own country till they arrived Nigeria. Some Nigerians may also not be doing well in Nigeria till they move abroad. As per the op, hopefully she can indeed return to England. I think she came from the UK.

If you mean back in Nigeria, fair enough, when some are getting close to retirement age, they may return to either Nigeria or some other 3rd world countries..You know that pension when converted to naira would go a long way.

Smh.

You're extremely childish for someone who claims to be elderly and retired.

Perhaps it's just loneliness, which is evident by the sheer amount of time you spend on nairaland going back and forth with those who don't buy your coock & bull story.

Okay I get it now.

The only reason you sit here in beautiful Nigeria regretting your untimely move and can’t return is because you were deported.

Being deported itself is not a bad thing, many deportees go on to do great things and use the opportunity well.

You’re a failure before you left Nigeria, you were a failure overseas and you return as a failure.

Nigeria is bad, Nigeria is regretful but your mates are making it here while you swim in a sea of self pity and woefulness cheesy cheesy

We continue to be exceptions. I’m nowhere near pension receiving age. The RadAutoWorks seems to be a young couple nowhere near pension age and what they’ve planted in Nigeria couldn’t possibly be from some converted pension money.

Some of us just love Nigeria and came back to make significant investment. Has nothing to do with pension.

Lol, this is not entirely true, some returned for better prospects especially during 6 years of GEJ's presidency. Many people abroad came home to establish businesses. Then Banks were recruiting people with foreign certificates and paid them fat salaries. When we get a better president, inflation drops, and enabling environment for business is creates many more people will relocate back home.

I understand you. Well what worked for Mr A might not necessarily work for Mr B. I was one of those that returned during GEJ's era but also relocated still during GEJ's era. If the economy gets better, maybe some would indeed return.

Atleast, the money invested must have come from somewhere (Most likely not Nigeria). Those abroad can also follow your lead by making that money overseas then return to invest in Nigeria if they are business minded.
