What makes you think Estonia does not worth it. It would be helpful if you can state your reasons for this statement so to help others think their decision through.

I am in Estonia and I would say it worth it. The only hard part is just having to travel to Estonia through another country and ofcourse the cold which I am already used to.
pls i want to know if as a student i can also be working because i need to survive.

But people here are discussing going to Egypt and Turkey for the visa. I’m very confused please, can someone please kindly explain

I got a rejection mail from Taltech today. Can I reapply to the same school before application close. I mean can I reapply to Taltech or try another school .

Sorry about the rejection, Before reapplying try to analyze your previous application to see if it’s something you can work on or not

1. For example if you feel you didn’t do well in the interview or your motivation letter and CV wasn’t strong enough then it is possible to work on this, you just need to write a stronger motivation letter also rewrite your CV and perform better in your interview or if you didn’t meet up to the IELTS required score (6.0 overall and not less than 5.5 in each sub score) you can also consider rewriting the exam. All this can be worked on

2. If you didn’t have a 2:1 or above in your bachelors degree or your bachelors didn’t cover what is written in the attached screenshot below, then I don’t think you have the power to influence this.

Look at these areas and see which one is your situation, if it’s the first one then work on it before reapplying, but if it’s the second one you can take the decision if you want to try again.

Note: I am also an applicant and this is just my opinion.

Thank you.

I know I didn't do well in my interview and my motivation letter wasn't strong enough because I didn't include any work experience since I don't have any.

I graduated with a second class upper in a management course and I have a band 7 in my ielts, so that aspect is covered.

I have decided to apply for another course in the same school since I can apply for two courses with one payment in a school. I will prepare better for my interview this time and also make some amendment on my motivation letter

I understand that this decision is disappointing. Kindly note that it is never easy to make admission decisions. But the decision was reached through a thorough and thoughtful review. Your application was evaluated in the context of the entire applicant pool. Please understand that this is in no way a judgment of you as a student or as a person, since our decisions have more to do with the applicant pool than anything else. Many applicants present strong records of achievement and good results in the admission interviews. We hope this final decision will not deter you from any of your personal aspirations.

I wish you every success with your further education!

THE REPLY I GOT FROM THE MAIL I SENT

Okay...

Sounds kind of generic but I think you should work on making your application documents tight and error proof especially the letter of motivation, then you can refire your application to another school

I wish you all the best

So I have finally landed in Estonia. Actually landed a week ago but couldn’t gather myself to write this message. I went through Turkey and it was quite smooth. Traveled with a child and we spent approx 1.2M for the entire process including flights and visa fees. I am certain it will be cheaper for most people because your flights can be cheaper. Our flight fees were most expensive cos I had to fly business class because of the comfort for the child. I’d itemize most of the fees I can remember.

Flight to Abuja, Uber to the visa center, $250 visa fees for 2 people and miscellaneous= 200k
Return Flight to turkey: 700k
9 nights at Hotel: 52k
Food and transport: 51k
Estonian Visa: 40k
Flight to Estonia: 212k
Total: 1,255,000

My Estonian visa was approved within 5 days. Submitted on a Monday and collected the passports on a Friday. No serious questions were asked. If you are interested in applying for turkey visa, you can reply my comment. I will write all what I went through there so that you don’t have to waste money like I did. Photocopying 1 page is 100naira there. Printing of 1 page is 1k. They just extort people a lot there.

Also, I got insurance for myself and child for 39k valid for a year. You don’t have to do swisscare or any expensive insurance. The name of the insurance I used is Axa Mansard.

If you are going through turkey, I can recommend the hotel I stayed. The hotel manager speaks English and can help pick you up from the airport at a cheaper price than what taxis charge, breakfast is free and it’s approx 5500 per night. The room can perfectly sleep 3 adults cos there are 3 beds in it. The name is Lion city hotel. Reply this if you need the hotel managers contact.

The amount you spent, was it for two people? Is much ooo! Tuition fee and accommodation is not here.

Do they allow tuition fee installment payment?

Work on your motivational letter , perhaps have someone assist by proofreading, then prepare very well for the interview and answer questions correctly. I wish you good luck.

I have no idea about this. Someone else can answer. Or possibly someone already answered in the past.

Well, Estonia does not have an embassy in Nigeria. Belgium embassy issues C-Visa (short stay). That's why you need to travel to their embassy to get a C-Visa(long stay).

I think the most important thing is be able to defend your motivation letter. when I did mine all the questions were from my motivation letter and I was also asked if I have a means of sponsoring my education if I was given admission and how I found out about the school.

PLEASE NOTE THIS IS MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE AND I WASN'T GIVEN ADMISSION

The best answer is it depends. I see from here that it takes 4 weeks: https://www.naijagoingabroad.com/visa-application/apply-estonia-student-visa-nigeria/

But its not certain how much long it can take .
