The flick unlike the first installment, lacked a solid plot, it was quite poor & it's execution was literally all over the place.
The songs were just too many & worst, they weren't catchy at all. Unlike the first movie, the songs here were very much forgettable.

Looking on the bright side, the animators did an amazing job, cause the animation was well rendered. I couldn't spot any flaws whatsoever, so, it was very much better than the previous installment animation-wise.

It's a solid 6 for me, cause of how great the animation was & nothing more. Animation rendering is no easy job.

IP Man 4 ........ 8.5/10

Better Cinematography than the previous, awesome fight scenes, although IP Man 3 had a better story. The acting was good also Adkins has improved on his accent. He sounds very American.

It was a superb conclusion to the Franchise.
Seems they'll move to Master Z: IP Man Legacy now after this finale.

You sure mirrored my thoughts exactly. Yeah he fights ok & has really been better of recent, but acting wise, he's damn horrible.

I was even more shocked when she said Steven Segal can act. like seriously, maybe there's another Segal i don't know of. His dialogues be it to a friend or foe, are always like a father giving his kid a piece of advice, his sex scenes are an eyesore, his body gestures & movements during fight scenes are freaking annoying. In fact, thank goodness he quit acting.

Thank God I'm not the only one who thinks he is a terrible actor. He has the same expression in all his movies: wooden.

adkins villainous boyka role in UNDISPUTED impressed everyone to the extent that the filmmakers rightfully saw that he's the soul of the film, and promoted him from the villainous role to protagonist in subsequent sequels....he didn't disappoint.

his sweet batman-like fighting skills in UNDISPUTED film series is a joy to watch.

Yeah. At least Jason Statham is trying, Scott Adkins, Just like Bruce Lee, is a martial arts crusader. I think he's more interested in sharing the art of fighting.
