chinolization: When you go for introduction, which Davido did. You are going to tell them that you are interested in marrying their daughter that you have come so that they can plan the marriage. If the father doesn't like you to marry the daughter, he doesn't accept your gift and it's over. But if he does the planning starts from there. |

SciLab:You guys are so dumb but you claim wiseness. You repeat the same few words, Muslim, Afonja, Fulani cow, etc, when you run out of sense. Tell your women to stick to their own misogynistic men if you don't want fulani or Yoruba bastard. Igbo customary laws don't apply to non igbos. What's concerns fulani herdsmen and communal lands in what we are talking about. Igbo men can not take other men's children from other tribes and you cannot blackmail other people to marry your daughters or sisters by force. Same way allowing twins to live is barely a few decades old, but customary laws to have them murdered have outlived your 10 generation.
I know it's hard for you to accept or understand, but the child belongs to both father and mother according to the Nigerian laws. 5 Likes |

Charleys: Read the Child's Rights Act of 2003, I know you're lazy so let me quote it for you: 68.-( 1)Where the father and mother of a child were not married to each other DO YOU SEE ANY MENTION OF THE MOTHER'S PARENTS OR TRIBESMEN 2 Likes |

Juliusmalema: Chioma is Igbo, and her culture says her father owns the child. Davido is Yoruba, and his culture says he owns the child. Both sides are supported by various customary laws. Please, which one do we choose here now? Is one customary law greater than the other? Or one tradition should be respected over the other? 1 Like |

wirinet: Mr Wuruwuru Monsuru, plenty words cannot fill a basket. The Customs remain the customs, it survived the British, it will survive nigeria and post-Nigeria. Your sexually loose tribe are not qualified to seek modification of Igbo customs, you are too lowly for that, even the Brits couldn't, so who tha hell are you? A hopeless agbero? Telling a traditionally proud Igbo man about customs? Tufia! May the gods and all the esoteric powers within cosmos and beyond forbid! An semi-literate like you, doesn't even know where twins (Ejimas) were killed in pre-historic Nigeria? yet you think you are qualified to lecture me about historical customs? You were probably busy impregnating little sekinat without plans for bride price at the back of the classroom while the history teacher gave his lessons. |

Charleys:Wherever the case is heard, women are generally given custody of very young children, except in cases where the mother is incapable or proven irresponsible. That doesn't mean davido would not be given parental rights. No other man can claim the child. |
