Yes Sir.

Very correct

Am waiting to increase my holdings in Jim Ovia Bank soonest....will definitely increase it before closure of register, collect the dividend, still re-invest it in ZB.

Already in April 2049 fgn bonds giving me better coupon payments

Will be re-investing the coupons in ZB, Dangcem and updc reit shares going forward

Make the prices of the stocks keep coming down, we will keep buying them until we reach Agbalowomeri bottom price

Oga Jim will go home with a dividend of over N10 billion in March 2020, will get another interim dividend of N1.2 billion in August 2020. Who says steady residual income is not good.

Part of the dividends will be diversified into other investments or buy more Zenith bank shares

And $67,000 invested 3 years ago in the likes of Flour mills, WAPCO, NB, Guinness will be worth less than $10,000.00 today.

They wouldn't tell you this one!

We have too much gurus here and that’s the beauty of faceless forum like this. Everyone should just stick to what works best for him/her. As for me, I would never do long term in NSE. I don’t want be be warren buffet of holding forever...

@myjoy, the prophet whom none of his prophecies came to pass.

Someone is investing local and you are here talking about devaluation. Why do we always look for ways to take away from facts. The guy you quoted never mentioned that he brought in dollars to buy APR. Why? Because you are now a currency speculator. What happened to y'all's call for devaluation?

Focus on the message not the messenger. Don’t worry I will buy zenith @15 or below, UBA @4 below, GTB below @20, etc. it is just a matter of time. And at the same time, devaluation is looming. Let them keep shifting the goal post...

Waoooooo

The dollar speculators are not seeing these figures

And Oga Jimmy is still increasing his holdings in ZB because he believed in his investment in ZB.....his not buying dollars but reinvesting in naira ...moreover, his boy is in the CBN...

Dr Ukay2, I really wish I could but what happened when you have tool failure and your junior on the field had to wake you up to do some troubleshooting and the likes. Wont you watch money acquired through that means and sleepless night with an eagle eyes. Infact, there are some terrible jobs you go to and you wont be able to sleep for 3 days especially if you have tool failure back to back.

We are also going to follow you to buy more units at that time....meanwhile, we must chop this dividends, clean mouth and still follow you to buy even ZB @10, GTB@12, UBA @2.5, UCAP @0.90K.

We are ready to keep buying as far as the price keeps coming down....more portfolio increase

If you bought UBA at 9.25 one month ago and it closed today at 6.85, this is 26% loss.

If you invested N100m,you have 74m left.

Same with those who bought Access at 12 and now it 9. i.e. 25% loss.

So how can your body not heat up? grin

And with such a loss and it continues to fall, won't you faint? What if it nears 50% loss. Meaning N50m gone!

Entry is key. Even Ben Graham advised it.
oga thanks for this calculation.Pls equally do for ubcapital and APR

Sir I understand. ...it is not easy.

I will advise you to buy some FGN Bonds when the yield increase again....I will remind you when the yields improve. ...currently it is about 12%

I have been able to acquire good values of FGN Bonds with average yield above 13.8% of 14.8% FGN BOND 26-April -2049. You will be getting the coupon payments of 14.8% every 6 months till maturity.

With that, you can sleep well and be reinesting the coupon payments either in equities or reinvest it in FGN Bonds.....compound interest

For me, any investment that I cannot sleepwell in the night is not worth it.

I cannot pursue money at the risk of my blood pressure. ....Loooooool

It will really make one to see equity investment as gambling, and many may develop cold feet and run away forever

Diversification is the key...

At August last year, this 14.8% FGN APR 2049 was being auctioned at a discount price of 15.5%, but many investors were busy investing in NTB only...but now NTB is all time low....then confusion everywhere
