Pls elders, how do I go about requesting for a refund of my money that is remaining, Cos I want to relocate from that Noise. Am dieing slowly. Help. Thanks you all.

You are trying to bring in a new tenant into an apartment the OP is trying to quit due to incessant noise pollution? Do you know how damaging such noise could be? I guess the person has high ability to tolerate such noise

why not pay guys to steal the grinding machines, at least before they buy anoda one it will take dem some time of peaceful sleep for u and you keep paying guys to steal it till you move out. never surrender or run away from problems guy, every problem has a solution, no matter the solution.

That's the first thing I look out for when getting a new apartment. Any compound with more than 3 children is a no no for me. Any church or mosque around, ur name na sorry. I hate noisy environments

Please file a report with LASEMA and they will take the necessary action. Grinding machines should be in the markets and not residential areas.

The op should inform his Landlord and ask that he speaks with them or refund hi smoney otherwise he should go and report the people responsible for the noise and the landlord, to LASEMA.
Packing out is not the best option because even where you are going might be serene at first, until your neighbour decides to start selling record and blaring his Speakers Will you pack out again?

In my street alone , there are about 5 churches now, one of them no get joy at all , the man they have program 5 days in a week Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday. You can imagine even we the neighbors that are not his church member know his service days


We don do all we could still no result, at a time he stopped using mic but now e don even fixed more ahuja , ministry is growing I guess .


Fortunately or unfortunately for most of us, we can leave our house. We know what to do even me personally but we keep our calm for peace to reign[b] and I'm a Muslim.


If i do what I could as a Muslim, story will surely go another dimension[/b].

First, don't sublet your apartment as some posters above are suggesting.

Talk to your agent/landlord about it, but don't mention your genuine reason, maybe you tell them urgent transfer from work or traveling for a course.

Mind you, agreement, commission and damages won't be refunded.

It does not matter whather you are a Muslim or Christian and if the offender is a Chruch or Mosque.
Its time we stop all these Emotions and Sentiments!

What if it was a Mosque that was disturbing your peace, will it be okay, just because you are a Muslim?
The Three Prayer houses l took on, one fo them was a Mosque and two were Churches and l dont give a damn.
The one that we eventually served Court notice, belong to my religion and l stil dont care, as long as they are breaking the law.
Even God said we should be considerate in all we do and you wont believe it is only Jehovah Witness people that dont use their PA system to disturb their neighbours because l hear they use normal Home theatre speakers and it is always facing inside their church.
Why cant others be like them, even though most of us dont like them?

If you are serving God, you wotn want to hurt other people by preventing them from sleeping, wich is when thebody heals itself.
You wont use excessive noise to wake them up when they want to sleep, just because you want more members, want to be noticed or think they cant come to the place of worship by themselves (they can use a personal alarm on their phones), without waking up the whol eneighbourhood.

A lot of people forget that Nigeria is a secular State, meaning No State Religion and as such, we must make room for tolerance of each other's ways fo worship without disturbing the others.
