Still doesn't change the fact he is a utility player.
I'm not a fan but it is what it is...

Can u, in order of their importance, enumerate how Shehu's versatility will come in handy, in this team?

guy was slick last night. maddison is a frustrating player. he needs to put his head down and learn how to be a proper 10. he doesn't attempt nearly enough through balls amd refuses to find players running in behind the defence.
I watched that game yesterday, that guy was trying to take the shine of his strikers. Most of the ball he was suppose to pass he would rather prefer to shoot from a range than pass the ball.I wonder why he choose to be selfish yesterday just for the sake of being their match winning hero.

What is the quality of the Nigerian league? The truth is that Gambo was not ready for that level and it showed.

Stop it. Gambo flopped and that's that. U still have a team like Warri Wolves that produced players like Etebo and Akpeyi. Keshi learned his lesson and brought in Gbolahan Salami and the guy was always productive. He was one of the best player at the end of Keshi's reign.

To be fair Maddison has been frustrating me since he got there. The guy shoots more than both teams combined. I would so hate playing with him.

Last night I was starting to wonder which of them I could say was performing better than Nacho lately. Even Ricardo was poor before his goal. Maybe the defense but not much else and anybody saying Vardy would make a difference is dead wrong.

I am giving a reason why the guy gets invited and you're saying mediocrity.
Once we get Ejaria, he'll obviously be dropped.

with all honesty. ..
the way the team is going now...

if any of the players especially the defenders and strikers refuse to step up and maintain their place.... many will be dropped

I forsee many foreign lads tropping in prior next world cup

should we get at least two more defenders folks.... it gonna be difficult

How does the invitation of Shehu make sense?

What is ur point exactly? That Rohr was right to invite Shehu from Turkish second division? What happened to "I don't rate any team in the Turkish league, outside the top 3 teams in the first division"?

Seems u are neither here nor there. Don't be a joke mate
i castigated rohr for inviting shehu earlier so i dont get what u mean by being here or there so abeg dont ever address me as a joke

i called rohr out for inviting shehu n kalu yesterday and opined that ejuke and a young alhassan would hv been preferable judging by their current form

The gate to the wailing hall has been opened, since the new Ghana coach, CK Akunnor named his squad, sacrificing better players for some HEY YOUs and trying to cover up his shortcomings with lies.

I hope, wish and pray Rohr doesn't play Awaziem as a CB with the way we're rotating the role

Awaziem should be married to that RB position

He is a midfielder. Rohr plays him as rb because that's where he's needed the most.
His versatility is not in doubt... Whether you like him or not.

He was needed as a RB, but not anymore.

His versatility is of no use to Rohr, as we've never seen Shehu being played at a different position other than the RB. Balogun and Ajayi were even played as midfielders, Shehu never.

I was telling tbaba that gambo didnt take his chances not that he wasnt ready, i wish he scored those chances against spain

And concerning Gbolahan salami, I agree with you n

Shehu was first choice makeshift rb before he got injured. Maybe Rohr sees him as that. Aina competes with JC as LB.
Ndidi is just coming back from injury. Shehu might have been invited for that reason.
Again, I'm not a big fan but he is versatile contrary to what some think.
I'd have preferred to invite a creative midfielder over him but it is what it is.
He is one of Rohr's trusted lieutenants.

Awaziem first choice? He better watch his back, if aina is not playing LB then i dont think awaziem would start ahead of him in RB

Just pray make your guy jamilu collins no play LB grin

It is still a shock to me that they didn't call up Mohammed Salisu. Their best CB in Europe. I read the coach's excuses and they were all lame.
