When u have Ehiz, it would be foolhardy playing a makeshift in Awaziem, in the RB position
We have good standby CBs and Awaziem has always bossed that RB position for us, who knows sef I hope the Ehiz doesn't flop

Good one from Rohr and the NFF.

Worthy of commendation is the gradual injection of new players with each list being rolled out.

Gone are the days that because we are facing a Sierra Leone our key players will be left out. All in the name of giving the NPFL players a chance or unearthing some "hidden gems".

Every match should be big these days.

We have a talented team and the only way to get them play excellently as a team is to continue to get them to play together.

Good morning my people
Well said...

That's My Papa... cool

Even Nigeria's Greatest Goalie of All time, Vincent Enyeama is feeling the Fire and Ever growing Quality in the Current Super Eagles....

The Dawn of the new era has since began at AFCON 2019, now watch the era itself unfold. cool

It is still a shock to me that they didn't call up Mohammed Salisu. Their best CB in Europe. I read the coach's excuses and they were all lame.

So lame, he claimed he couldn't establish a line of contact with the boy, but when pressed, he said he is now in contact with the boy know why he couldn't contact him. The man just dey talk rubbish.

I remember when we were parading something similar grin grin

Goalkeepers: Richard Ofori (Maritzburg United, South Africa), Razak Abalora, (Azam FC, Tanzania) Richard Atta (Hearts of Oak) - verdict; Nobody here would make the eagles team with Uzoho fit

Full-backs: Kwadwo Amoako (AshantiGold), Andy Yiadom (Reading, England), Gideon Mensah (Zulte Waregem, Belgium) - verdict; None of these full backs would make the super eagles team, though, to be fair, the duo of Agbenyenu and Baba are injured

Centre-backs: Nicholas Opoku (Amiens, France), Joseph Aidoo (Celta Vigo, Spain), Kassim Nuhu (Fortuna Dusseldorf, Germany), Habib Mohammed (Asante Kotoko) - verdict; I would consider only Aidoo here, or the eagles, Nuhu has been a bench warmer for Fortuna, hence he can't make our bench

Midfielders: Mubarak Wakaso (Jiangsu Suning, China), Alfred Duncan (Fiorentina, Italy), Iddrisu Baba (RCD Mallorca, Spain), Thomas Partey (Atletico Madrid, Spain), Mohammed Kudus (FC Nordsjaelland, Denmark) - Verdict; Here only Partey and Duncan

Wingers: Christopher Antwi-Adjei (Paderborn, Germany), Tariq Fosu (Brentford FC, England), Samuel Owusu (Al Fayha FC, Saudi Arabia), Andre Ayew (Swansea City, England) - Verdict; Nobody here would make the super eagles team

Strikers: Jordan Ayew (Crystal Palace, England), Richmond Boakye Yiadom (Red Star Belgrade, Serbia), Eugene Ansah (Hapoel Ra’anana, Israel), Yahaya Mohammed (Aduana Stars) - Verdict; Nobody here would make the super eagles team

I believe Chriskels had a hand in this invite. Franco-Igbo connections. grin

I hope, wish and pray Rohr doesn't play Awaziem as a CB with the way we're rotating the role

Awaziem should be married to that RB position

Awazeim should stick with the CB role please... He was just used a makeshift RB. He is just managing the role...there's no point in forcing it on him... He doesn't play the role at his club, hence he may not get to develop it well..
That was how Shehu started, now we are debating his invitation..

I don't enjoy watching messi and Ronaldo cos they are too straight forward with their approaches to the game. They used to play with so much flair but recently their Method is so mechanically boring. I like players with lot of flair and mesmerizing move such as Ronaldinho, riquelme, qaresma, Denison, robinho, Ronaldo (when he was in manutd), Jay Jay etc.
you forgot Alex hleb for arsenal and arjen robben(when he was still at Chelsea) cool

Whenever he plays as RB he has never showed signs of not fitting in, if he is more productive there than as a CB which I think is the case, he should continue

When u use a player in makeshift role for too long, sooner or later, his weakness would be identified and would be easily targeted... Shehu started out well too...

Awazeim can displace anybody from that CB role if keeps working hard and taking his chances.. Only Ekong has-been able to hold down a starting shirt in that CB role since Rohr took over... Balogun,Omeruo and Ajayi have all had their chance there...

Awazeim can still play RB but not when we have neutral RBs available

At the bolded, Not all players cause I know one or two players that are being played out of position and get better results

And I don't agree Awaziem can bench any of the guys you mentioned in CB, even omeruo will start before him

In as much as we have new entries to the RB Position, I will still prefer awaziem over all of them in the RB Position, the only defender throughout the nation's cup that no player could successfully dribble past, man is quite solid in the RB role with comparison to how he fares on the CB role.
Even during the friendly with Brazil before neymar was taken out, neymar couldn't take him out in the RB Position.
Awaziem should just hold that RB role for me.
