deanoffaculty: As in enh.... the guy has no idea what is going on. I've been home for three years now, no job. I take up a teaching job I am not passionate about but just to keep body and soul together on a 30k marginal payroll. He thinks if someone like me get such offer I won't jump at it. As you rightly said, he is probably still living with his parents and have more free things so na champion him be for side hustle. 4 Likes |

Oga, I know people that will do acrobatics for half that and u have side hustle. Take the job as a stepping stone ok. I spent 3 years and 9 months at home before I got a job that pays 6 digits and its my 2nd step. I aim higher. 1 year after service I started managed my own betshop, it was a disaster. Closed down after 7 months, then I was doing freelance computer repairs to feed. 2017 I got into a very stressful job in construction where my relative that got me the job shared my pay 60/40 and sometimes in a month I get 30k, i give him 18k that's where I met someone that noticed my efforts in getting things done. The same person that connected me to my current job. Lasted 4 months. So when it ended I went back to lagos to my father's house. I was sad cuz i fell backwards, though I helped my dad boost his business and he began paying me 100k monthly for the profits I brought the company. I still wasn't comfortable cuz i was aging. May 2018 I got a link of a job back in delta so I threw in my cv, went for 2 interviews and waited like crazy. I was dying cuz its awful aging under the same roof with my parents. Waking in the morning to envy people stepping out to work. I was sad and sometimes in tears even though my dad gave me monthly pay just to track and manage assets (free money) I wasn't comfortable, sometimes I cried. August 2018 I got a call from the HR of my company. I thought it was those dudes from gnld only to realise it was the interview of May 2018. Did the induction and here I am. Its not a super job but its one step forward. So no pay is too small just take it as a step forward. 7 Likes 1 Share |

You are very lucky. I am still seeking employment. It has been 3 years now and i am bothered. The good thing is that I am a very good person, God fearing and hardworking. I just love anything "work" Sometimes I feel like someone would help me out by telling me to work with him/her, and I would be paid by the person. Anything good would do, be it any Job. I reside in Lagos. Abule/Eyano era. If you can assist me with accommodation it would be nice. 1 Like 1 Share |

Bros. You are even lucky there is a staff boss. Make sure you are living close to your office. If you are single and the salary is paid on time, you should be able to sustain yourself with 65k. |

In Lagos you pay for everything,I mean everything including what you do not use or use often. If you're a bachelor fine but if you're married I just hope you sit your wife down and discuss with her how the management will be. |

65K monthly still a fair pay for a graduate in any part of Lagos either Mainland, Island, Ajah, Okoko. 65K minus transport fare is good bruh. My advice for you, wherever you want to live in Lagos don`t live above your income regarding accommodation. You can start your life with one room self contain below 200k yearly. And i don`t know if your newly found job will still give room for your side hustling i would advice you to continue doing it. Don`t forget to set aside a target every month, how much to be saving, your feeding allowance, bills at home and unforeseen emergency bill. May God help you bruh Doyin400l: 1 Like |
