I will advice you not to use any SOA that is older than 30days. If you print it now let's say 9/03/2020, make sure you submit your application before 9th of April 2020.

Hello Adetayoade1,

If applicable. Every situation varies, so assess yours to know what (financial) documents to include.

All the best

Hello sir
I am applying by April
If I do print my statement of account now is that fine because my dad is about to travel this is March
And please when does this statement become invalid to submit
@wealth360 has answered your question already, I don't know what else you are expecting to hear again. If the statement is more than a month old it loses its validity

@Frankrobbn and to all the bosses in the house.

Good evening,
I've read alot on this platform about the traveling process, but I feel a little bit confused.

My question is this!
I just started my processing, applied to Brandon University already which I've received their response and submitted all the requested documents. So hoping to get feedback and the school admission.

1. When the admission comes out, what are the steps to take and what documents am I to provide?

2. I've a business a registered business with a business account, do you think it's advisable to use my company account or seek for someone's else's details to be on safer side, since the program will last for 4yeard (maybe they might be thinking how would the business continue when I'm there)..

Pls I'll be very glad to get a well detailed advise.

God bless you all..
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by wealth360: 11:16pm On Mar 07, 2020
No offense taken sir. Your question is vaguely structured. Please be detailed about your admission process if you need advice.

1. You mentioned the duration will be 4 years , meaning it can either be UG or PhD? Which one?2. Let's say it UG, what are you applying for? What course? Is the course related to your business?

Because if it is UG, be ready to pay nothing less than $15,000cad every academic year depending on the school. I will stop here to hear back from you. Please be detailed enough for others to contribute.

Thanks

What do you need to know?

I have my permanent residency, and planning to take a program at Fanshawe College by Septembet. I just want to know how easy it is to get a partime job in the school or city while schooling, and the general feel of the city; whether lively or isolated in terms of social activities.

She eventually got her passport request. Really appreciate the house for wonderful information reading through other people experience.

My cousin time line

Not sure if corresponding letter is a good signal. She has to wait for so look for confirmation of her upfront medical, After two webforms upload requesting for acknowledgement or confirmation if they have received medical.

Thank you so much for your response sir.

I applied for bachelor of Arts (Graphics design) and the tuition fee is about $16,000 cnd per year.
And the information I got from a friend who's on the same process was (No advance tution fee to be made before letter of admission been issued, until school resumes for registration).
I'm done with the school application and submitted all required documents online yesterday, which I hope by coming week I should hear from the school.

So my questions a directly on how to go about the student visa and documents to be provided for the visa.

1. After been given a letter of admission from the school, what are the steps am to take and what documents am I to provide to apply for the student visa?

2. And also I've 2 registered business with 2 business account on my name, do you think it's advisable to use my company account statement(s) or seek for someone's else's company account statement to process my visa, to be on safer side, since the program will last for 4years.

Thank you once again and I'll be glad to read from you.

God bless

You can’t use a company account to show as proof of sponsorship it has to be a personal account !!!!

Hello everyone,
I recently applied for a PhD program in the University of Victoria, Canada, I am currently studying my Master's program in the University of Aberdeen which will eventually end by September this year. My supervisor asked me to apply which I did, the school admission board recently asked me to send my undergraduate transcript. Please note that I graduated with a 2.2 in my first degree I have already sent the school my first semester transcript from the University of Aberdeen and they are aware that I'm not yet done with the Master's program in Aberdeen.
I want to know if they will evaluate me based on my undergraduate degree performance which I know that my performance wasn't as great as my current master degree performance?
Again will it be ideal if I asked them to grade me base on my masters degree performance only?
Awaiting for your responses

Hi @Mrves111,

I think the admissions committee requested your bachelor's transcript to assess your academic background and not to use in deciding your PhD admission prospect or ranking in the admission cycle/round. I assume you already provided your current transcript (MSc) even if it was just for a semester. If they find your application eligible, they will most likely offer you a conditional admission into the PhD class requiring your MSc final transcripts before enrollment. Also, if there are funding opportunities for entrants in the program, that you may be eligible for, they would likely require your final MSc transcripts to do that.

Let me know if you have further questions.

Hi,

Don't accept the offer yet. First, check whether the program/school allow winter entrance. Regardless, please send an email your prospective supervisor, if you already have one, explaining your reasons. Think this through very well and be ready to explain why you are deferring. The graduate program director for your course is also a very important person to contact. Another option is to call the graduate program assistant on phone and find out the conditions for deferral. It is usually possible but if you have some funding, you may lose those if you defer unless you negotiate very carefully. The relevance of your reasons for deferral to your success in the program (e.g. completion of an ongoing research work), the better your chances of a win-win.

Ciao!

Good day house. Just got admitted to university of alberta Masters in public health a 2years course.
To apply for student Visa, do I need to show 1 year tuition and living expenses or 2 year tuition and living expenses? Thanx

When did you apply and when is your resumption date. My wife applied for the same program Dec last year and we haven't heard from them yet.

Good day house, wifey has Bachelor of Arts in English language (3rd class) in 2014 and a Post graduate diploma in Broadcast Journalism (Upper Credit) in 2016. She has been working as a journalist from 2017 till present.

Can she go ahead and apply for masters in journalism?

I would have reasoned she applies for a 2 years graduate diploma in journalism but I have been reading that it’s a bit tricky to convince visa officers when pursuing a lesser/same academic qualification in canada.

Gurus pls what do u suggest?

But you need to tell the reason why you are deferring the admission. Because you still have time enough to apply for visa since is 2020 Fall term

Good evening all , I submitted my application on 24 Feb , since then I have been getting updates on the phone number that I used from the vfs office. And last week Monday I got a message saying that I should come and pick up the passport from the visa application center. I went there on Thursday and they told me that . My passport wasn't ready.

Please I need help analysing this situation. Does it mean that a decision has been made?

Visa Refusal. What Next?

Hello everyone,

I got admission for a Masters programme (my 2nd Masters) last year and applied for my study permit as well as sowp for my husband and visitor visa for my 12 year-old daughter. I was encouraged to apply as a family cos the testimony of a lady here who did so and got approval for her whole family.

Just received mail that we were denied on the grounds of:
- purpose of visit
- family ties in Canada and country of residence
- limited employment prospects in country of residence

Please how can I counter these in my reapplication?
