I use mine with airtel Hotspot but you're good to go with your phone. Swift uses band 40 for its 4g LTE, and I just checked your device specs via GSM arena, and it has band 40 as well.

If your phone has band 40 (which it does, thanks to cris83 for confirming) all you have to do is create a manual APN using the settings below. choose your swift sim as the prefered internet sim and you're good to go.

Swift Network Nigeria(4G/LTE)

Profile Name: swift internet(this can be anything)
APN: lte.swiftng.com
Access Number: *99#
Username : – (leave blank)
Password : – (leave blank)

Did you try to insert the swift settings manually in the apn? Try that first and see if it will work. Someone posted the settings already and how to do it so read up a bit

Use it on SIM 1 Only. Swift doesn't bring out signal Bar on phone, just the LTE or 4G sign. Force signal to be on 4g only.

I'd like to ask if a Router can improve download speeds better than a WiFi modem? For instance, I get 1 to 2MB/s while downloading files using Swift. So is there a chance a Swift Router will increase the download speeds?

Dam5reey, the method below has been confirmed working on the Global version by someone in the mi forum.

1. Switch to region Honk-Kong (the only one for me that worked)
2. disable check volte by dialing *#*#86583#*#*
3. reboot and it shall be there

if the RN7 is on havoc or any other custom rom, you might not be able to make calls but only to airtels. This certainly has to be a glitch in the OS as VOLTE should be able to call all lines.. Anyway, most new Nokias of today that have 4G, also have VOLTE..e.g Nokia 2.2

...thank you ...I'm using global version and it's showing volte using Ntel sim . So unlocking the bootloader will make it call other network? Plus Ntel network itself
