Am not entirely convinced that all those funds are local. Some FPI's might be buying already. Money don too much ooo.

Either way, like you said, they have gotten the message loud and clear.

My Oga

All na local

PFA only hold abt 5-6% of total asset under management (>10Trillion) as equities whereas regulation allows them to hold as much as 15-20%.

That mean extra ammunition of over 1 trillion not yet used

so what u see today is chicken change if PFA (the big masquarede) decides to dance

This is not the time to relax ooo. The main issues are still not resolved (the virus, oil price slide). This is a jump in book profit, jump out something.

With all the huge volumes in @GTB, FBN and ZENITH, they still didn't close on full bid. That says alot. this is definitely temporary.

Dow is already losing 900point today and Brent is sliding to @35.

Global economy still has a long way to go. open your eyes well oo. The issues are still on ground oo.

The body language of the minister from his response show indifference. the meeting is still set for may/ June. that means we still have march and April to contend with.

The words of the minister doesn't in anyway express dissatisfaction with the status quo; he is simply not foreclosing future cooperation and collaboration with OPEC. The low prices are exactly what Russia wants and their aim is to force US Shale producers out of the market/business.

The earlier we get acclimatized to this, the better. Its a long road ahead.

.

oil dey your head

i wld also tell folks that when they are calculating forwards EPS / DY they shld be marking down by at least 30% cos there is over 90% chance that
numbers wld come in lower at the end of the year (though it might not show in Q1 yet cos we are not that hit by coro and the pass thru effect of lower oil price wld have some lag).

that being said it doesnt mean folks shld not buy at this level. all above wld just make sure that we are opening our eyes very well while doing the buying. i myself bought some stocks today and im still also in the market but doing so with a clear eye

You try.

I give it to you.

But me and you know that it is a moving average and if you compute with the period you had done before plus the data afterwards up till yesterday, you will be having a lower figure for GTB.

GTB is yet to markdown o. grin grin

It is not meant to close at full bid. You won't understand what is happening.

Just scoop as the decapitation occurs everyday.

You are closer to the ground than those who bought in January high.

The same thing you see now is happening in almost all stocks worldwide.

Very true, sir. However, the news is enough for the required market recovery. At least, NSE. All those still keeping their money under their mattresses will have to beg to buy from us. grin

Dow is going to 21K7. From now till Fed meet. grin

That time it will be maximum fear. Even Powell go shout "Jehovah". grin

Goldman Sach already predicted the end of bull market and expect Dow Jones @21,700 even below. I was just reading about their outlook now. So there’s more fire on the mount. Zenith @9, GT @11 below, Stanbic @12. Just follow the money since you’re not Warren Buffet. The dip is going to get dipper grin

There is an untested support level for GT around 16.XX if I still remember (I have uninstalled the software from my computer).

Any buy at 19.4X or slightly lower for GT is very very good.

I ain't sure it will trade below that 16.XX handle.

All the best everyone!

Maybe...anyway naah Puts options till the coast is cleared. And Germany is about to be locked down, Italy already on locked down, businesses are shutting down in the States, Schools are closing, Boeing already preparing for downsizing, etc. Time to restrategize instead of keeping buying a falling knife
