I'm not comparing it to game of thrones, but I feel it's first season's story couldn't be told any other way and the second season will make or mar the potential of the series

Considering that the series merge the first book and second book storylines, I disagree.
And I really don't think the second season will make or mar it.
But let's wait and see

Needed some comic relief. So been watching 'The Fresh Prince of Bel Air' .Boy, Will Smith was (and still is) an amazing actor. No surprise he got straight to the top after that series.

Funny how many of these series seem to undermine male power and dominance.. Feminism is really knocking hard. But personally it would b best not to put any gender down to make the other seem stronger or superior

My memory of season 1 is very vague. I watched it in 2017.

I discussed it with folks here and here...

There is a major plot hole I forgot to mention back then... the electricity plot hole: Cutting the power to the building should have ruined the whole heist, since the electricity would be cut off, thus criminals wouldn't be able to print more money.

It's fundamentally the first thing the police are required to do in hostage situations, but the police in Money Heist conveniently forgot to cut the power, whilst knowing to cut off the TV from receiving signal. Ultimately, the success of the whole heist depended on a massive plot hole.

There would usually be a back up generator for such industrial work. Many manufacturing companies have back up supply, especially if they need to do continuous production

Watching fans make excuses for plot holes never cease to amuse me.

A backup gen requires a gasoline, yes? A good 5,000-watt generator will use about 18 gallons of gasoline in 1 day (24 hours). This makes it prodigiously unrealistic and expensive to use an industrial generator for a long time, specifically 11 days. Haha, nice try.

Anyhoo, that's not the point, the point being, the cops failed to cut the electricity when it's basically the first thing to do in hostage situations. It is hostage 101 to cut the electricity.

No worries. I was just seeing if I could test or explain the plot hole.

You are right. The cops should have cut the power at first

There are scores of other plot holes. If I recall correctly, one of the plot holes involved the Professor. The whole season was a mess.

Typical Nigerian. No use for analysis and reasoning. Just gbas-gbos action between good and bad guy...

Finding plotholes is a god way of analysing a movie or series or rather, the other way round....

Yeah! I just went through everything and its all trash.
One dude was even questioning why Tokyo was the narrator. Another was complaining about the emotional attachments, one also complained about the ineptitude of the Serbian brothers. Its all bullsh*t criticism.
They lived and dined together for months, emotional attachments sure will come into play.
And of course the Serbian brothers acted to script, they did what they were told to do.
Just stop with all these criticism, the show is the most watched non-english show ever aired on Netflix. Its adored by fans all over the world, intelligentsias from various works of life. Its a mega hit.
Be there looking for plot holes, ehnn
