First pic: Ogbono and Egusi mixed together
Second pic: Okro soup

Does this combination work?

I have some ogbono that I’m about to throw away because I don’t like ogbono by itself.

We’ve been doing some kind of mini food festival.
But at this point, it’s back to the kitchen henceforth. (Especially because of corona)
Let me go and clean my pots.

1) burgers and fries with a cocktail.
2) shrimp curry with coconut rice (the yummiest).
3) eggs Benedict with Canadian bacon and hollandaise sauce.
4) char broiled steak on coleslaw.
Madam coco, na only you waka come? tongue

Abeg stay safe and stay away from those tempting Italian restaurants for now. Keep posting from your kitchen. grin

I haven’t been to an Italian restaurant recently. And that was next on our to-go list since we are sampling whatever piques our interest.

I’ll just stay away from the Italians for now.

I had some Indian few days ago. It was sublime.
Indian food is second only to Nigerian food.
With Chinese in third place.

Maybe it’s because of nurture but Nigerian food has been the winner in my opinion

It works for me atleast.
cook your egusi separately, fry the ogbono separately and add to the egusi and meat stock. I used onugbu in place of ugu.
Its really nice

Do you know how bad Indian hygiene is or how many males put their bodily fluids in the food at their restaurants?

Don't eat at Indian restaurants.

Yea. Typical oyinbo aka American cuisine is not for flavor loving individuals.

Usually not one of my top choices

Hmmm, ogbono and egusi mix.

I've never tried that before though.
Won't the egusi overshadow the taste of everything ?

after una don chase prestonn away, una major competition.

I've been a silent observer and participant on this thread, never posted or commented on people's post previously but seriously this thread is a lil bit boring without Preston's/chaser's food post. Am among those who look forward to his next post... i just wish he will forget the negative trolls and come back...

I was surprised at how he ran away with his tail between his legs, it really pained me and still paining me, I was here to defend him but was away when they chased him away, I really wish I was here when the drama ensued but I came a bit late
