For ATF, if it is an american spec, the recommended oil is Toyota T-111. You can also use Amsoil ATF. If it is not american spec, then use any Dexron 111. |

@Mykw, we have the same ride. I bought it in 2010. I have been using mobile oil 50W. The one sold for N2900. Infact I buy the oil myself from the filling station. I stay there with my mechanic during the servicing. I dont just give money for the car to be servicrd. They may just buy any type of oil to reduce their cost and maximize their profit. Also avoid buying oil from our Ibo brothers. Theirs are adultrated and cheaper when compared to the filling stations. I hope this helps. |

Try to get the car manual. It should specify the transmission fluid and brake fluid you should use for the vehicle. As per engine oil and coolant, I don't know much so can't give suggestions. All the best in maintaining your car. |

The recomended engine oil is 5W30 (SYNTHETIC) Which is equivalent to Mobil 1. It is sold for 9k. If it is not affordable stick to Mobil 20W50, It is about 3k. buy it your self From Mobil Station as one poster advised. 1 Like 1 Share |

I bet if you check both oils they are not made in the same place, one is imported and the other is made in Naija. Which do you think is the right oil. Get a spoonful of both oils5w30 and 20w50, heat them up over boiling water then pour them out on a slanted surface, you might see why the manufacturer said use 5w30.No matter how hot they say Naija is we don't know better than the manufacturer. 4 Likes |

The best ATF to use for ur camry is the original Toyota T - iv . It comes in 4 litres (a tin). One tin is enuf gor ur car and its what is recomended by Toyota. Use DOT 3 brake fluid for ur brake oil. U use mobil XHP for ur engine oil. I use the above 3, and my car does exceptionally great. I use a camry 2005 (big daddy) |

Check what zm drill posted, use 5w-30 or 10w-30. It doesn't matter if its Mobil, total, AP or oando so far its the same grade. 1 Like |

ATTN ALL #TOYOTA CAR GURUS ***URGENT HELP NEEDED*** camry 2004 -xle i4 2.4 big daddy I got this wonder on wheels some 6mths ago its a beauty to behold and pleasure to drive..however d engine doesn't seem to hold oil for long especially after journeys! I do a 450-500k return trip every other week and after every such trip my engine oil fall short! Before now I have tried different oil brands (from mobil, total, ap visco etc20w50) they all fell short after the trip recently I got the recommended oil (5w30) milemaster from konga and hit the road. Lo and behold a check on the dipstick the next morn was a nightmare. it had fallen short too ! p.s there are no oil leaks beneath the engine and tail pipe doesn't smoke and check engine light is not on. |

Measure how much oil ur car consumes after 1000 miles. If its above 1 litre, then we will look for the cause. I have posted some things u should do in another topic. |
