Topshow4real: I'm here to tell those who intend coming to Dubai the plain truth.
See, if you plan coming to UAE to search for jobs, just have it in mind that you've got about 95% chance of returning home after 3months without getting a job or invitation for interview at all. Professionals might have good chance of getting jobs, I don't know about that. It's risky coming here with your attested certificate without any skill or UAE experience to search for jobs. It's like staking VERY BIG on East Thurrock or York city to beat Liverpool 3-0 correct score, you know what I mean. It's possible, but the chance is very slim.
My advice:
Coming to the UAE with a 3months visa for job hunting, will cost you nothing less than N1million (visa, attestation, flight ticket, accommodation in uae for 3months, feeding, and transport fee for job hunting EXCLUDING Agents and other 419 fees, if you're not wise or too desperate). Use that money to invest into any business. You don't need to start Big. Start small and watch your business grow. And if you already have a business, don't sell your business because one stupid agent is promising you a job that would pay you 500k monthly in Dubai. Use that money to expand your business. If you must travel, consider Canada through Express Entry.
For a moment, ask yourself why those who came here to make enquires about certificate authentication or confirmation of their visas, refuse to come back here to share their testimony/experience after they got to the UAE. They are either stranded or have returned home without a job.
So think!
Bye bye.
***Ghost mode activated again. Inasmuch as there is sense in ur advice,my question for u is that Why are u in UAE? If u started from scratch and now u are reaping the reward for being patience why are u discouraging others who want to follow the same path? |

Thanks for the advice. About starting business and watching it grow. It is never a fact that 100% of people must do business or good in business, some are best in education or working alone. So no matter what business you open for them. Forget it , it will collapse. I have 5years experience in sales and marketing. So am talking from experience.
People talk about Starting business, I just laughed. 60% of business man and woman in Nigeria run business on loans . Businesses requires grace of God, capital, good location and government help. My brother Nigeria government is not helping.
Secondly, for those who are not good in business, and want to travel for job hunting. Please let make sure we have a good working experience like he says, Authenticate your certificate. Read all the pages again, pick some better information And travel to take a step. I have some years of experience in drink production company, well known production company in Nigeria
A good sales experience that I can't work with your company and not see impact in one month.
But Nigeria company will still be paying you 60k, 80k with this Lagos Expenses. But if you re earning more than 120k above, think well before traveling.
So, if you think it worth going and want to take the risk. Take the step, even life itself is a risk.
You talk about Canada express, my brother. Do you think Canada express na 1milion? Or just a month process.
My advice is you can use Dubai as a stepping stone, while hustling in Dubai, be trying other shengen countries through study channel like Germany, Finland , Malta etc. Rather than sitting down in one place and having the fear of failing . You can do all this process online yourself There are free or low tuition fees in most of the Shengen countries
Best of luck
Thanks bro I sustain everything you’ve said it’s the plain truth, everything is just GRACE we have to be smart in all we do. |

My dear I read your comments and sincerely feel your concern but however, it is important to let you know that things have changed in UAE compared with the way they used to be. So many things have changed that those of you in Nigeria will not see but it is better imagined than experienced. But take note of the following before you come so that you will be aware. 1. There are fewer jobs than the population trooping into UAE every day from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Philippines, Nigeria, Cameroon etc. This makes it extremely difficult for new comers to get job. 2. Agents are scamming Nigerians making them to believe that there are jobs when it is not true. 3. So many Nigerians are frustrated because of lack of jobs and are not willing to return home due to shame. 4. Job buying has gradually become a bigger scam than ever but might still see few ones that are genuine. 5. If you have any job that can sustain you in Nigeria you better remain than facing the frustrating situation in UAE. 6. Frustration level in UAE for those without jobs is BIGGER than the frustration level in Nigeria. If you have no job in Nigeria, you can still run to your family and friends who might assist you but in UAE, you are on your own. A few people who came earlier were lucky but THINGS ARE NO LONGER THE SAME. If you still have it in mind to come, you are free but plan ADEQUATELY for the three months so that your return will not be difficult. Prepare money for return ticket, food, bed space and miscellaneous that can take care of you for THREE MONTHS before you leave Nigeria. Wish you all the best. 1 Like |

I have two questions. 1, what is PCC? 2, does that mean we must get visa ready before going for attestation or how? Since u said we need biometric. I am yet to get this clear. Going on 3months visa to search for job. Mostly i need teaching job. I have bsc/Ed in petchem. And being teaching basic science to jss class here. I dont know all it entails to get this job. Need help Techwithjudith: https://www.nairaland.com/4390425/qatar-uae-general-visa-enquiries
Good day house. Here is a little brief and information from me because i was at the embassy yesterday.
1. Before going to embassy, make sure u have gone to "foreign affairs" with your travelling documents to get their stamp(attestation). At the gate, there r police agents that will collect it and go do it for u while u wait outside. U pay for "each" document you go with.
2. From there after getting your papers stamped, u will have to go to the embassy where u will pay 19k for "each" document you go with and want to do attestation on. Note:...once you get into the embassy from down stairs, you will be asked to pay for each document which is 19k each. It should have been 18k but u know naija nah.
3. Now after Payment down stairs you will be given recipe to go to the main embassy up stairs. Meet the receptionist (U WILL SEE A BOLD RECEPTION)....make sure you ask the arabic man sitting there what to do. Show him your documents to help you.
4. Now eh....listen well ooo...the receptionist will give you a payment paper that is if u r with a copy of your Visa sent to you from Dubai. He will ask you to go pay for biometrics which is 30k after going to make the payment,go back to him, he will ask you to go click on payment which u will do and get your number to stand in queue for verification. Now the person verifying your documents will then tell you to go click on biometrics button to get a queue for that. I think from here you will be directed.
5. On that machine you have been clicking on for queue, when you are asked to click for that of biometrics, also click for attestation because no one will be ready to tell you that. That's the main reason for paying 19k for each documents. So there will be a sticker that will be placed on those your documents especially your PCC...... You can ask your questions from here Thanks |

Yellow card is mandatory for shengen countries. You have to do it at ministry of health at MM2 in Lagos . They will give you vaccine injection and the yellow card. But I will advice you to do. If only you want to settle in UAE But if you wish to travel to any Europe country in future or other Africa countries You have to do it.
Requirements Pay on Remita Print the receipt Take it to the office Go with your international passport You have to eat before you go , because of the injection.
I did it 2015 when I was going to west Africa Also when I applied for Egypt and Italy tourist visa. It is mandatory. Is it only MM2 that one can get the vaccine |
