AfonjaBoston: You have a terrible way of "remembering " things. Of all the things you can be,be kind. You are where people want to be, I really dont understand why you feel a need to make people feel less about themselves. you must be a deeply unhappy person. I dont mean this in an unkind way but have you considered therapy at all? I can recommend a good one even if you havent got insurance 27 Likes |

Coronavirus: US Embassy Closed Lagos Office Temporarily - INVESTOR KING MARCH 12, 2020 BY: Coronavirus: US Embassy Closed Lagos Office Temporarily The United States embassy in Lagos Nigeria has been temporarily closed, according to the Consular. In a statement released on Thursday, the embassy said “Until further notice, applicants are encouraged to contact the Consular Office in Abuja for immediate emergency travel. Applicants with emergency travel must provide a travel itinerary. Please monitor the Facebook and Webpage of the U.S. Embassy for updates on consular operations. Scheduled visa and ACS applicants for Lagos will be contacted for rescheduling. “American citizens in southern Nigeria with urgent travel needs who are to re-schedule their travel through Abuja should contact the ACS office at Embassy Abuja to discuss their options. Those traveling after March 13, 2020, should follow-up with LagosACS@state.gov to confirm their appointments closer to their appointment date. “American citizens in southern Nigeria with emergency services needs should continue to contact the after-hours emergency number for Lagos to request assistance.” While the embassy did not state reasons for the temporary shut down, it is likely due to the fast-spreading coronavirus and the fact that Lagos is home to Nigeria’s most active international airport, the entry of the index case. On Wednesday, the President of the United States, Donald Trump, , except the United Kingdom and Ireland, after cases of coronavirus rose to over 1,2000 in the country. Another report noted that the , has suspended the remaining games of the season after a Utah Jazz player, Rudy Gobert, tested positive to coronavirus on Wednesday. The series of latest developments might have prompted the US embassy in Lagos to shut down Lagos office as a control measure, especially after WHO declared the virus global pandemic on Wednesday. My people, pls how true is this information? And how do I reschedule my interview date? 1 Like |

oyefunmi: The real news release from USEmbassy site doesn't link the closure of Lagos Consulate to CoronaVirus. This place you copied it from edited CoronoVirus into the release. Lagos Consulate has asked anyone travelling or in need of consular services after March 13 should contact Lagos at the email provided. If you fit from March 13, send them an email and take it from there. |

missjekyll: The only place he gets an excitement and momentary gratification is Nairaland. I said the guy needed a mental evaluation. I have MSW from Liberty University, United States. I can help him with some some cognitive behavioral therapies. He doesn't answer me. The guy is hurting pretty badly. I have a lot of pity for him. But the thing about sufferers of mental disorder is they don't--never -ever - admit they got a problem to begin with. With fierce denial, how could you solve a problem when he says it doesn't exist? 7 Likes |

Hi everyone, After booking an appointment for B1/B2 interview, I discovered I made an error on the DS-160 form regarding the employment dates for one of my previous employers. Should I correct this error at the interview day? Or should I prepare another DS-160 form and change the new DS-160 number on my current interview confirmation? My interview will be within next week. Thanks. |
