STRONG indications emerged that the Federal Government may have reduced the pump price of Premium Motor Spirit, PMS, from N145 per liter to about N130.

It was learned that the Federal Government may have approved the new price after a presentation by Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Timipre to the ongoing meeting of the Federal Executive Council, FEC, being presided over by President Muhammadu Buhari at the presidential villa, Abuja.

Sylva, had last week said the government was in consultation with relevant stakeholders on the possibility of reducing the price following the crash in crude oil prices in the international market.

These people have no sense.

The government should not reduce the petrol price. Instead it should keep the unexpected profits and channel it into any of the critical areas like power, health, education or the fight against Boko Haram.

Why is this APC government so useless ?

I'm tired of wailers. On one thread, many said why hasn't the fuel price been reduced. The president is clueless and wants to loot, so he wouldn't reduce the price .

Now, just look at the comment of the guy above.

Its the same. Why not 80 or 50 naira. When cruel oil was selling at 20 dollars per barrel we all know how much petrol. This government is a scam all day....

Nice one by the FG. But i don't like hearing things like: the government plans to, presidency is mulling, government will, FG considering devaluation of naira.
