Thank you for answering this and bringing positive energy here again... For the past few days it had gotten gloomy..

The point you have made is things are still going on, and even though they will be slow for a while now, they will go back to normal again.

There are agencies who will have to continue their replacements after corona lockdown cos they have had people retire last year/this year and as a result, people promoted and job vacancies open... Mass recruitment may not occur but especially with revenue generating agencies they shouldn't be restricted from continuing with business as usual or completing processes that were already started..

With regards to Federal Civil Service Mass Recruitment it may still likely happen this year once oil price starts regularizing.

The main point is everyone should still keep applying and pushing buttons for federal employment as even if it has been suspended it will open up again...

I can't recall the scene well.. All I remember is a lady collected d original copy from me and photocopied the letter. She stamped both the photocopy and original. Gave me back the photocopied. Then clip d recommendation with my CV. I can't really tell if she wrote my name somewhere.

You should have collected the lady's number to be following it up.

Do not get on bad graces of the official giving you a recommendation letter by forging his letter.

Most times recommendations letters work best when the official submits his/her letter with your cv directly on your behalf to the agency. I now see why recommendations submitted by candidates are not as solid cause they may not be original.

these days agency's call the members back to confirm if the recommendation letter is legit or not.
