I'm not doubting God's word... But this isn't the first time these things will be happening....
Australia bushfires occur almost every year .. the locust invasions are seasonal, this year own just happened to be worse..even Nigeria once had a case of locust invasion... And a lot of epidemics have befallen the world in the past .. think of malaria,HIV/AIDS,Ebola,SARS,flu, etc...

This isn't end time!

I pray so,but to be sincere, this 2020 dey somehow,May God continue to protect us all IJN

For those who profess Christianity, in a time like this, this scripture is very relevant. Rom. 13: 1-7

I asked my overreligious sister, If God cared about the prayer warriors all over the world why didn't he stop the virus?

That had her thinking for some seconds

Joe, how can we discuss this further outside this thread. Na im be say all those doing underground churches in North Korea, Pakistan and Iran should stop doing their secret church activities and fully obey the governments.

There is a context to this. The government is there to maintain law an order. Where there is lawlessness nothing can work. Staying at home in this time cannot prevent you from worshipping.

God put things like healthcare in the hands of men. When men don't take necessary precautions, things go awry and people die. Don't blame God for everything. He isn't responsible for the wars and failing economies of Nations.

The bible makes us understand that the Devil is the God of this world (2 Cor 4:4). If you want someone to blame, blame Lucifer. James 1 says that only good gifts come from above, from the father of lights. Every havoc caused from time immemorial is traceable to Lucifer who works through sinners(unsaved men) to wreck his havoc. My God isn't evil. It'll do you a world of good and enlightenment to understand this.

Hope this is clear?

I call you blessed.

Am not referring to a time like this, of course staying home at this time doesn't prevent true worship. The question refers to those places where freedom of worship is nonexistent. So the question again is should d underground churches in those places cease acticities in order to obey the government?

Apologies but I have to add that Emmanuel Ogbu also tragically passed away along with Ifeanyi George yesterday. What makes this sad is that this was one of those young players that many of us have craved for in the NPFL. RIP

I have already answered your question indirectly. Give what belongs to Caesar to Caesar, and what belongs to God, to God. Didn’t the scripture say God gave the government the authority? So who pass who? .

This is so sad, very young guys with the future ahead of them. I pray that God will comfort those they left behind.
